  • Publication number: 20220381553
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a dimensioner table (DT) that is highly transportable and can be removably or permanently affixed to a mobile platform (MP). This allows freight to be scanned at the time of pickup or each time it is unloaded/loaded onto a new MP. The dimensioning information collected from the DT can be used to create a 3D model of the freight which can be used to help provide loading instructions. The successive scans of the freight by each DT can also be used to identify any discrepancies in the 3D models or captured images which may indicate damage or partial loss of freight.

  • Publication number: 20220375154
Abstract: A system and method for content creation via interactive layers is provided. A mutable general object on which to build an artefact is stored. The mutable general object includes a plurality of n-dimensional data units capable of being rendered in a multi-dimensional display. An environment represented by the artefact is displayed. The artefact includes layers that each represent a different characteristic of the environment. Each layer includes a generator and layer parameters. A unique identifier is assigned to each layer. The identifiers for the layers of the artefact are composited and the composited identifiers are stored. Upon accessing the composited identifiers, the artefact is reconfigured for display using the generator and layer parameters from each of the layers.

  • Publication number: 20220330669
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a social distancing device to ensure people maintain a recommended social distance apart. The device is compact for ease in carrying when not in use, yet extendible to the recommended social distance, which in the case of COVID-19 was six feet. When in use, the device extends exactly the recommended social distance from the end of the handle to the tip of the device. Hence, a user can hold the device in one hand and ensure that no other person is closer than the tip of the device. By using the device, proper social distancing recommended by the government can be maintained.

  • Patent number: 11410375
Abstract: A system and method for content creation via interactive layers is provided. Parameters for an artifact are received. A mutable general object on which to build the artifact is maintained and includes a plurality of n-dimensional data units. Layers of data for the artifact are generated via different generators. Each layer of the artifact represents a set of characteristics based on arrangements of the data units. Each layer is generated by obtaining data about an arrangement of the data units for that layer, from one or more layers of the artifact prior to that data layer, and creating the layer to mutate the data units based on the data from one or more prior data layers and the received parameters. The artifact is formed by stacking the layers via the mutable general object. Each data layer is stored with the generator for that layer as a string of characters.

  • Patent number: 11360736
Abstract: Techniques for routing a user command to a speechlet and resolving conflicts between potential speechlets are described. A system determines an intent of an input command. The system also receives context information associated with the input command. The system determines speechlets (e.g., speechlets and/or skills) that may execute with respect to the input command given the intent and the context data. The system then determines whether conditions of routing rules, associated with the speechlets, are satisfied given the context data. If the conditions of only one routing rule are satisfied, the system causes the speechlet associated with the routing rule to execute with respect to the input command. If the conditions of more than one routing rule are satisfied, the system may determine a speechlet to execute with respect to the input command based on the speechlets' priorities in a list of speechlets and/or based on potential output data provided by the speechlets.
