  • Patent number: 11269616
Abstract: A deployment orchestrator system is disclosed that determines an impact of deploying a new version of a component of an application deployed in a computing environment. The impact of deploying the new version of the component may be determined by generating a deployment factor for deploying the new version of a component based on analyzing information that identifies both a technical and a non-technical impact of an update made to the component. In certain embodiments, the deployment orchestrator system includes capabilities for generating different deployment plans for deploying the new version of the component. Each deployment plan is tailored based on a specific deployment factor determined for the deployment. The new version of the component is then deployed based at least in part on the deployment plan to different production regions of a production environment of the deployment orchestrator system.

  • Publication number: 20220051183
Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed to verifying a state of an item during transit. In some embodiments, shipment data including sensor data and/or user input may be obtained by one or more sensor(s) and/or input device(s) of a shipping container (e.g., box, conveyance, custom container, receptacle, smart container, tote) that houses the item during transit. Shipment data may be transmitted to a data store (e.g., blockchain, immutable ledger, distributed ledger technology). At suitable time(s), the location of the shipping container may be estimated and/or identified from the shipment data obtained from the data store. A state of the item may be verified at least in part by analyzing the sensor data and/or user input obtained from the data store. Utilizing the techniques herein, a determination may be made as to whether the item was mishandled and a likelihood that the item was affected (e.g., damaged, spoiled, etc.) during transit.

  • Publication number: 20220001558
Abstract: A grooming device. The grooming device includes a handle having a housing portion with proximal and distal ends. A displacement sensor is positioned within the handle. A power source is positioned within the handle and provides power to the displacement sensor. A neck portion of the handle has proximal and distal ends and the distal end of the neck portion is connected to the proximal end of the housing portion. An implement connecting structure is positioned at the proximal end of the neck portion and includes a connection element. An eject element is moveable within the handle, and a location element is connected to the eject element. A grooming implement is connected to the connection element. • Publication number: 20220001556
Abstract: Sensor-based shaving systems and methods of analyzing a user's shave event are described for determining a unique threshold value of the user. A grooming device comprises a handle having a connecting structure connected to a hair cutting implement. A shave event sensor associated with the grooming device measures a user behavior, which includes collecting a first dataset comprising shave data defining a shave event. The first dataset is transmitted via a communication device and is analyzed to determine baseline behavior data of the user, and a unique threshold value of the user is determined from the baseline behavior data. One or more subsequent datasets, each comprising shave data of one or more corresponding shave events, is compared to the unique threshold value to determine comparison data. An indication is provided, based on the comparison data, to indicate a deviation from the threshold value and to influence the user behavior.

  • Publication number: 20210404930
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided to detect a density and/or a concentration of a brine solution or any other solution flowing in a conduit. A diverted portion of the brine solution may be received from the conduit at a vertical pipe. The vertical pipe has a top and a bottom, where the diverted portion of the brine solution is received at the bottom of the vertical pipe and the top of the vertical pipe is at atmospheric pressure. A pressure sensor may detect a pressure of the brine solution in the vertical pipe. A processor may determine the density and/or the concentration of the brine solution based on the detected pressure of the brine solution and a property of a reference solution.

  • Publication number: 20210383706
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for more effectively providing pilots with optimal suggested route or trajectory changes during flight. This is achieved by at least two primary improvements: (1) expanding the set of available aircraft performance “models” used in the TASAR system's generation of recommended flight trajectory changes to account for the characteristics of a larger set of aircraft; and (2) modifying a baseline model for a type of aircraft to take into account the operating characteristics and condition of an individual aircraft. The baseline model may be generated by collecting data regarding the characteristics of a set of aircraft having a common manufacturer, type (e.g., airframe or class), and specific features. The collected operational and performance data may be used as input data or “features” for a machine learning algorithm to generate a parameter of a performance model.

  • Publication number: 20210380508
Abstract: An efficient process useful for the self-condensation of aliphatic aldehydes is provided, catalyzed by dialkylammonium carboxylate salts. In particular, the invention provides a facile method for the preparation of 2-ethyl hexenal via the self-condensation of butyraldehyde using various dialkylammonium carboxylates, e.g., diisopropylammonium acetate or dimethylammonium acetate, as catalyst. Additionally, residual nitrogen arising from the catalyst can be reduced to ?100 ppm levels in the product via a simple washing procedure. The invention provides a process for preparing alkenals under conditions which limit the formation of undesired impurities and high-boiling oligomeric substances.
