  • Publication number: 20250130033
Abstract: An eddy current non-destructive evaluation system for an electrode film material includes: at least one control module configured to generate a transmission signal; and a first pair of coils. The first pair of coils includes: a first coil disposed adjacent the electrode film material and configured to operate in a transmit mode, and, based on the transmission signal, to generate an electromagnetic field that passes through the electrode film material; and a second coil disposed adjacent and on an opposite side of the electrode film material as the first coil and configured to operate in a receive mode. The second coil is configured to generate a electromagnetic field voltage based on the electromagnetic field. The at least one control module is configured, based on the electromagnetic field voltage, to at least one of determine a thickness of the electrode film material and detect a defect of the electrode film material.

  • Publication number: 20240201061
Abstract: A system for measuring effects of vibration on rheometric properties of a fluid sample. The system includes a receptacle configured to hold the fluid sample and receive a probe extending from a rheometric measuring device. A vibration generator is configured to vibrate the fluid sample within the receptacle while the rheometric measuring device measures the rheometric properties of the fluid sample. A vibration control module is configured to control frequency at which the vibration generator vibrates.

  • Publication number: 20240194958
Abstract: A fixture assembly for testing or measuring a portion of a battery electrode includes a top plate, a baseplate, a connector and a support member. The top plate includes holes for creating a low-pressure region along a top surface of the top plate to hold the portion of the battery electrode to the top plate. The baseplate includes a bottom plate and side walls. The side walls extend upward from the bottom plate and define a vacuum chamber with the top plate. The connector is attached to the baseplate and configured to be connected to a vacuum hose for drawing air from the vacuum chamber to pull the portion of the battery electrode to the top plate. The support member is attached to the baseplate and configured to hold the fixture assembly in place relative to a measuring device that measures a physical characteristic of the battery electrode.

  • Publication number: 20240095810
Abstract: Payment solutions that allow a user to pay for an order in a store using a user device typically only pass the total payment amount to the user device. One way of displaying other order information on a user device involves the user device sending, to the server, a URL containing instructions for building an online page to display the order. However, this introduces the risk that a malicious user may modify the URL to remove an item from the order or change a price of an item without informing the merchant. The present application relates to systems and methods for preventing malicious activity by users when modifying order information. According to some aspects of the present disclosure, items entered into a merchant's point of sale device are sent to a server for storage in order information which can be retrieved by a user device using an identifier.

  • Publication number: 20210232617
Abstract: A computer implemented method of determining a fact matching a user requirement, comprising the steps of providing an ontology and a semantic database, and controlling a computer processor to perform the steps of accepting a query defining a template for a statement regarding a fact, identifying matching patterns in the semantic database, and outputting either a matching statement or information supporting the user to locate corresponding information, characterised in that a formula is provided defining a maximum semantic distance that a class or instance may be broadened to, and in identifying patterns, for each instance/class having a non-zero divergence value, one or more broader classes is accordingly treated as a match. This enables the user to identify facts that would otherwise be difficult to identify, and enables the user to identify relevant facts of a type or category which the user might not have thought to look specifically for.

  • Publication number: 20180331947
Abstract: A method may include receiving a domain name system (DNS) query at a network device, where the DNS query may be associated with a traffic flow identified for rerouting through an alternative path utilizing an alternative network device instead of a default path. The method may also include rewriting the DNS query such that the DNS query is routed through the alternative network device along the alternative path and to a DNS server associated with the alternative path. The method may additionally include receiving a DNS response from the DNS server, where a resource identified in the DNS response may be based on the DNS query coming through the alternative network device.
