Alternatively, two bulkheads or panels may advantageously operate without a partition wall such that the panels may be placed side-by-side and fastened together to make a full-width bulkhead.

Abstract: A dent resistant laminated steel application is provided for a laminated appliance wall, including: an exterior cover having a first outer skin layer and at least a second substrate layer laminated thereto, wherein the first outer skin layer is stainless steel and overlays the second substrate layer. The second substrate layer can be bonded to the first outer skin layer, wherein the bonding material is disposed in the interspace between the first outer skin layer and the second substrate layer. The laminated wall can further include a first outer skin layer having a material thickness from about 0.014 to about 0.022 inches. The second substrate layer can be selected from the group consisting of fiberboard, galvanized steel, and polyester.

Abstract: A safety system for preventing crane operator injury. Two ergonomic tracks are attached on either side of the working crane. A fall transmitter is used whenever a crane operator is not on the floor. The fall transmitter has speed and travel distance governors that limit the speed and travel of certain aspects of the crane. In a further embodiment, a second fall transmitter is utilized by the second crane operator to assure that both operators are aware of and agree to any crane movement prior to commencing such movement.

In other embodiments, the panels include depressions that obviate the need to fill the panels with foam or other supportive filler material. In still other embodiments, the panels have no fasteners extending through panel so the panels are substantially impervious to moisture. Other embodiments have grooves or similar mounting apparatus disposed around their peripheral edges to which edging such as supports or flexible seals may be mounted. In yet other embodiments, the grooves are arranged so as to permit worn out seals to be quickly and easily replaced without the need to remove mechanical fasteners.

Also disclosed are techniques for incorporating reinforcing composite elements into molded plastic parts. Abstract: A component of a motor vehicle passenger compartment comprises an internal frame in which is mounted collapsible frame that is displaced in response to the application of an abrupt force. The collapsible frame can be attached to the internal frame by shear pins that are sheared off during relative movement of the collapsible frame and the internal frame under a force of a predetermined magnitude, preferably less than the force causing injury to an occupant. Alternatively, the collapsible frame can be coupled with the inner frame by means of one or more retaining ridges. The collapsible frame can slide over the ridges when under a force of a predetermined magnitude, also preferably less than the force causing injury to an occupant.
