Education-related information for a user is monitored within an online learning environment and an assignment completed by the user is received. A score of the assignment is determined to be below passing level. Other assignments that are the same as the received assignment and are associated with below passing scores of the user are identified. A number of the received assignment and the same assignments is determined as common assignments. A predetermined threshold is applied to the number of common assignments and when the number of common assignments exceeds the predetermined threshold, access of the user to the online learning environment is blocked. • Patent number: 10181987
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for collector high availability. In some embodiments, a system receives, from a first collector device, a first data report generated by a capturing agent deployed on a host system in a network. The system can also receive, from a second collector device, a second data report generated by the capturing agent deployed on the host system. The first and second data reports can include traffic data captured at the host system by the capturing agent during a period of time. The system can determine that the first data report and the second data report are both associated with the capturing agent, and identify duplicate data contained in the first data report and the second data report. The system can then deduplicate the first and second data reports to yield a deduplicated data report.

  • Patent number: 10178168
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to data replication in a distributed computing system. The system ensures a read-after-write consistency for the replicated data by associating the write requests with unique version numbers, and using them to obtain the data. A server associates a write request with a unique version number, and returns the version number to a client, which can use it in a subsequent read request for the data. On receiving a read request for a first data, the server extracts the version number from the request and ensures a specified write request associated with the version number is processed prior to obtaining the data. If the specified write request is processed, the server obtains the data and returns it to the client, else the server processes the pending write requests up until the version number and then the specified write request, and returns the specified data to the client.
