  • Patent number: 10248541
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention enable users to extract knowledge from testing scenarios performed during application development, and later employ that knowledge to interpret application usage scenarios to enhance serviceability of applications by expediting identification and solving of problems. In an exemplary embodiment, log data generated during simulation of test cases is analyzed to create one or more rules based on patterns in which one or more log entries appear in the log data. Later, log data may be analyzed to look for a pattern of log entries that matches a pattern-based rule, thereby facilitating faster identification and resolution of the problem.

  • Patent number: 10247013
Abstract: A turbine rotor blade that includes an airfoil defined between a concave pressure face and a laterally opposed convex suction face, and a cooling configuration that includes a cooling channel for receiving and directing a coolant through an interior of the rotor blade. The cooling channel may include fluidly connected segments, in which: a supply segment extends radially through the airfoil; an outlet segment discharges the coolant from the rotor blade at a shallow angle relative to a flow direction of a working fluid through the turbine; and an elbow segment connects the supply segment to the outlet segment and is positioned near the outboard tip of the airfoil. The elbow segment may be configured for accommodating a change of direction between the supply segment and the outlet segment.

  • Patent number: 10242734
Abstract: Provided are techniques for resuming storage die programming after power loss. In response to receipt of an indication of the power loss, data that was to be programmed to multi-level cell NAND blocks are copied to single level cell NAND blocks and a pulse number at which programming was interrupted is stored. In response to receipt of an indication to resume from the power loss, the data is copied from the single level cell NAND blocks to a page buffer, the pulse number is retrieved, and programming of the multi-level cell NAND blocks is resumed at the retrieved pulse number using the data in the page buffer.

  • Publication number: 20190089158
Abstract: Systems and methods for an edge of network voltage control of a power grid are described. A system includes a distribution power network, a plurality of loads (at or near an edge of the distribution power network), and a plurality of shunt-connected, switch-controlled volt ampere reactive (VAR) sources also located at the edge or near the edge of the distribution power network where they may each detect a proximate voltage. The VAR source can determine whether to enable a VAR compensation component therein based on the proximate voltage and adjust network VAR by controlling a switch to enable the VAR compensation component. Further still, each of the VAR sources may be integrated within a customer-located asset, such as a smart meter, and a multitude of such VAR sources can be used to effectuate a distributed controllable VAR source (DCVS) cloud network.

  • Publication number: 20190083780
Abstract: Various systems and methods provide iontophoretic delivery of anesthesia at a patient's tympanic membrane. Some implementations provide channel switching enabling a single current sink to pull current through two electrodes in an alternating fashion based on clock pulses. The iontophoretic delivery of anesthesia may be driven by an AC modulated current. Some implementations provide for continuous flow of fresh iontophoresis fluid to the ear canal during iontophoresis. The fluid flows from a source reservoir into the cavity between the tympanic membrane and a plug, and then drains out of the cavity to a reservoir. An iontophoresis system may also detect capacitance between an anode electrode and an auxiliary electrode in a patient's ear canal, watching for reduced capacitance to indicate presence of a bubble in the iontophoresis fluid.

  • Publication number: 20190089482
Abstract: In a method for generating a data unit conforming to a first communication protocol, a first field and a second field to be included in a preamble of the data unit are generated. The first field includes a first set of one or more information bits that indicate a duration of the data unit and is formatted such that the first field allows a receiver device that conforms to a second communication protocol to determine the duration of the data unit. The second field includes a second set of one or more information bits that indicate to a receiver device that conforms to the first communication protocol that the data unit conforms to the first communication protocol. The first field and the second field are modulated using a modulation scheme specified for a field corresponding to the first field and the second field, respectively, by the second communication protocol.
