  • Patent number: 12032493
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein describe obfuscating plaintext cryptographic material stored in memory. A random location in an obfuscation buffer may be selected for each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material. The location of each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may be stored in a position tracking buffer. To recover the scrambled plaintext cryptographic material, the location of each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may be read from the position tracking buffer. Each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may then be read from the obfuscation buffer and written to a temporary buffer. When each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material is recovered, the plaintext cryptographic material may be used to perform one or more cryptographic operations. The scrambling techniques described herein reduce the likelihood of a malicious user recovering plaintext cryptographic material while stored in memory.

  • Patent number: 12030256
Abstract: A coated tubular construct for biological and industrial applications includes a plurality of channels, where each channel is radially surrounded by a wall comprising a first polymer, and a conformal coating comprising a second polymer is disposed on an outer and/or an inner surface of each wall. A method of producing a tubular construct includes 3D printing a template structure comprising a sacrificial material and a photoinitiator, and immersing the template structure in a first prepolymer solution comprising a first prepolymer and a co-initiator. During the immersion, the template structure is exposed to light, and the first prepolymer undergoes radical polymerization to conformally coat the template structure with the first polymer, forming a coated template. The sacrificial material is removed from the coated template, and a tubular construct comprising the first polymer is formed.

  • Patent number: 12034576
Abstract: A receiver receives communications over a communication channel, which may distort an incoming communication signal. In order to counter this distortion, the frequency response of the receiver is manipulated by adjusting several parameters. Each parameter controls at least a portion of the frequency response of the receiver. The optimal values for the parameters are determined by modifying an initial set of values for the parameters through one or more stochastic hill climbing operations until a performance metric associated with the receiver reaches a local optimum. The modified values are displaced through one or more mutation operations. The stochastic hill climbing operations may subsequently be performed on the mutated values to generate the final values for the parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240224116
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating and implementing pulse-shaping filters for efficient utilization of limited spectral resources in wireless communication systems. Wireless communication systems operating at high spectral efficiency conventionally use pulse shaping filters that rely on Nyquist waveforms for good main lobe performance with low inter-symbol interference (ISI) power. Conventional uses of non-Nyquist waveforms typically involve an orthogonalization process to convert those non-Nyquist waveforms to Nyquist waveforms for ISI free performance. Embodiments of pulse shaping filters described herein generate a non-Nyquist partial response (NNPR) transmit filter and/or matched receive filter based on applying a tunable second-weighted orthogonalization to a tunable first-weighted non-Nyquist waveform to obtain a pulse-shaping waveform with parametric control over throughput and power penalty.
