  • Patent number: 10678844
Abstract: Media capture apparatus and methods for obtaining metadata. Metadata may be collected and stored in a container independent of audio and/or image (media) content. Some container implementations may be configured to store metadata for a given interval, and media content for a portion of the interval. In action camera implementations, metadata may provide a context related to time, physical conditions of a person, location, surroundings of the video capture. In event recording applications, the metadata container may provide information related to a timeline of the event, environmental conditions, proximity of other capture devices. Metadata may be utilized for processing, viewing, and/or sharing of media content. Individual capture devices may communicate and/or combine metadata to one another in order to expand metadata content. Metadata, video and/or images may be shared between users and/or devices using a container.

  • Publication number: 20070285209
Abstract: Contemplated systems and methods for automated and controlled vehicle access comprise a vehicle associated reader that informationally cooperates with a reservation system at which a user places a reservation. At the vehicle, the reader automatically retrieves a unique information code from the user (e.g., in form of an RFID signal) and is transferred to and compared with an entry in the reservation system. Upon validation, access is granted to already known users, most preferably in combination with a further validation step (e.g., via keypad). Users with previously unknown unique information code are issued a temporary code by the reservation system, and upon validation of the temporary code and automatic retrieval of the unique information code, the reservation database is updated such that the unique information code replaces the temporary code. Preferably, access is then granted upon further validation step.

  • Publication number: 20070036697
Abstract: A multi-zone jacketed pipe reactor (2; 60; 90; 130) for carrying out exothermic gaseous phase reactions and with at least one reaction zone (I) working with vaporisation cooling, at least one reaction zone (II) working with circulation cooling and, possibly, with additional zones (III, IV) is characterised in that one reaction zone (I) working with vaporisation cooling forms the first reaction zone to which is connected an additional reaction zone (II) working with circulation cooling. In this way there occurs at the beginning of the reaction, when the latter is most violent, very intensive cooling at a precisely controllable temperature and especially as well a temperature that is constant across the entire cross-section of the reactor while subsequently in a subsequent reaction zone working with circulating cooling by means of global counter-flow guidance of the heat transfer agent a constant cooling of the reaction gas is achieved.
