  • Publication number: 20180105834
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of site-directed insertion to H11 locus in pigs by using site-directed cutting system, includes the following steps: 1) identify the targeted sequence targeted by the targeted cutting system in the targeted genome sequence of pigs; 2) design and construct the targeting sequence of the corresponding cutting system according to the targeted site; 3) construction of targeting vector; 4) transfect cells, identify the efficiency of fixed-point insertion by PCR amplification. The invention is dependent on the site-directed cutting system of H11 locus in pigs, to insert the target gene into the target site, in order to solve the problems such as low efficiency of traditional shooting technique, inconvenience design of PCR detection primer, harder to detect. The invention provides a method of site-directed insertion which can stably express the foreign gene at the H11 locus, to build an efficient platform for the production of transgenic pigs.

  • Patent number: 9922002
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a computing system. The computing system includes a processor and a computer-readable storage medium. The computer-readable storage medium stores instructions which when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform a method. The method comprises obtaining from a first data structure one or more pointers to corresponding elements in a second data structure. A respective vertex of a graph corresponds to an element in the first data structure and the graph supports multiple edge types between respective vertex pairs. The method further comprises obtaining from the second data structure a respective edge type associated with a respective vertex and a respective successor vertex of the edge type and enumerating a respective successor vertex of an edge type of a vertex from the second data structure based on a pointer in an element in the first data structure associated with the vertex.

  • Publication number: 20180004709
Abstract: A method and system performing a general matrix-matrix multiplication (GEMM) operation using a kernel compiled with optimal maximum register count (MRC). During operation, the system may generate the kernel compiled with optimal MRC. This may involve determining a fastest compiled kernel among a set of compiled kernels by comparing the speeds of the compiled kernels. Each kernel may be compiled with a different MRC value between zero and a predetermined maximum number of registers per thread. The fastest compiled kernel is determined to be the kernel with optimal MRC. The system may receive data representing at least two matrices. The system may select the kernel compiled with optimal MRC, and perform the GEMM operation on the two matrices using the selected kernel. Some embodiments may also perform general matrix-vector multiplication (GEMV), sparse matrix-vector multiplication (SpMV), or k-means clustering operations using kernels compiled with optimal MRC.

  • Publication number: 20170372447
Abstract: A method and system for performing general matrix-vector multiplication (GEMV) operations on a graphics processor unit (GPU) using Smart kernels. During operation, the system may generate a set of kernels that includes at least one of a variable-N GEMV kernel and a constant-N GEMV kernel. A constant-N GEMV kernel performs computations for matrix and vector combinations with a specific value of N (e.g., the number of columns in a matrix and the number of rows in a vector). Variable-N GEMV kernels may perform computations for all values of N. The system may also generate 1B1R kernels, constant-N variable-rows GEMV kernels, and variable-N variable-rows GEMV kernels. The system may generate constant-N variable-threads GEMV kernels, and variable-N variable-threads GEMV kernels. The system may also generate variable-threads-rows GEMV kernels for the set. This may include ConstN kernels (e.g., constant-N variable-threads-rows GEMV kernels), and VarN kernels (e.g., variable-N variable-threads-rows GEMV kernels).
