  • Publication number: 20090125874
Abstract: System for automatically creating a current project in an application developer workspace. In response to reading a project file for the current project, it is automatically determined whether the current project has one or more dependent projects based on data contained within the project file. In response to determining that the current project does have one or more dependent projects, a build file is automatically generated for each of the one or more dependent projects. The build file calls importing targets within each of the one or more dependent projects. Then, the current project and the one or more dependent projects are automatically imported into the application developer workspace to form a created current project. The created current project is created without launching an application developer application. In addition, the created current project is stored in a source code control repository.

  • Publication number: 20090071659
Abstract: A technique enables anchoring of a tool in a wellbore. The technique utilizes one or more arms pivotably mounted to a structure for movement between a radially inward position and radially outward position that anchors the tool to a surrounding wall. A wedge component is positioned to selectively engage the arms. When relative axial movement is caused between the wedge component and the arms, the arms are pivoted to a desired radial position.

  • Publication number: 20090071660
Abstract: A technique enables anchoring of a tool in a wellbore. The technique provides traction against a well component without creating high stress concentrations that weaken the well component. An anchoring device comprises anchoring members that are selectively movable to an expanded configuration for anchoring the tool. The anchoring members have traction surfaces able to selectively engage a smooth anchoring surface of the well component at any desired location along the well component. Each traction surface is formed to facilitate traction while minimizing stress concentration.

  • Publication number: 20080053707
Abstract: A system and method for downhole measurement for use with drill strings to reduce the borehole gap with respect to sensors carried by the drill string. In one embodiment, the sensors are mounted on a surface of the directional drilling hinged pad that comes in contact with the borehole wall. The hinged pad is pressed against the borehole wall as contact is made with the wall, thereby keeping the sensors at a minimum gap with respect to the wall. In another embodiment, the hinged pad is not used for directional drilling. Therefore the hinged pad is extended outward to the wall with the minimum necessary amount of force. Activation of the hinged pad can be initiated, for example, by flow of mud in the annulus of the string or through a user-provided command. The sensors can include resistivity, density, neutron, electromagnetic, acoustic, seismic, and NMR measurement sensors.

  • Publication number: 20070228778
Abstract: This invention consists of a concealment device for vehicle roofs consisting of two parts: a moving cross member and the concealment element itself. Both are connected by a temporary joint such that they can be moved together as a single body or can be separated to allow them to move separately. The possibility of separating them allows the removal of the rear concealment element, keeping the mobile cross member in its position, which carries the sun shades among other devices. It is also possible to remove both elements, leaving a cabin with a very large transparent element that may even be the extension of the windscreen. The means that allow its operation on diverging guides are also included in the subject of this invention.

  • Patent number: 7275258
Abstract: An apparatus and method for multi-threaded password management are provided. With the apparatus and method, resources may be grouped into families of resources. A family of resources is defined as a group of resources that may make use of the same password. When a user sets a new password for a family of resources, all of the passwords for each of the resources in the family are reset to this new password. That is, the multi-threaded password management apparatus and method spawns threads to reset the passwords of the other resources in the family. In this way, a single operation of resetting a password for a resource in the family may cause a plurality of passwords to be reset. Moreover, the passwords need only be reset when the earliest reset time of the resources in the family occurs. Thus, the number of passwords that must be memorized by a user is significantly reduced. Furthermore, the number of times that passwords need be reset is also reduced due to the resetting of passwords on a group level.

  • Publication number: 20060113111
Abstract: A method is provided for conducting measurements of a borehole while drilling the borehole in a geological formation. First, a rotatable drilling assembly is provided that has, at a forward end, a drill bit and a borehole measurement tool connected rearward of the drill bit. The measurement tool includes at least one caliper arm extendible outward from the measurement tool. The method involves drilling the borehole by operating the rotatable drilling assembly. While drilling, the wall of the borehole is contacted with at least one extendable caliper arm of the borehole measurement tool and the extension of the caliper arm contacting the borehole wall is measured, thereby determining a distance between the measurement tool and the borehole wall. During rotation of the drilling assembly, contact is maintained between the caliper arm and the borehole wall and the measuring step is repeated at multiple positions of the drilling assembly.
