  • Publication number: 20190357085
Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for active bandwidth part (BWP) switching, the processing circuitry is to decode RRC signaling configuring a plurality of BWPs for the UE. The RRC signaling further includes an indicator for an initial BWP of the plurality of BWPs for initial use by the UE as an active BWP. DCI received on a PDCCH is decoded, which includes a BWP indicator for switching the active BWP from the initial BWP to another BWP of the plurality of BWPs. RF and baseband parameters to switch the active BWP from the initial BWP to the another BWP are reconfigured. Reconfiguring the RF and baseband parameters cause an interruption of one or more slots of a serving cell of the UE. A starting time of the interruption is within a time duration of a BWP switching delay supported by the UE.

  • Publication number: 20190343094
Abstract: Provided is a method for preparing a PD-1 gene-modified humanized animal model. The method utilizes the CRIPSR/Cas9 technique to replace partial fragments of a mouse PD-1 gene with fragments of a human PD-1 gene using homologous recombination by constructing a targeting vector, thereby preparing a gene-modified humanized mouse. This mouse can normally express a PD-1 protein containing the functional domain of the human PD-1 protein, and can be used as an animal model for mechanism research regarding PD-1, PD-L1 and other signals, for screening regulators, and for toxicological research. The method has an important and high application value in studies on functions of the PD-1 gene and in the development of new drugs.

  • Publication number: 20190327650
Abstract: Beamforming measurement techniques based on PSS/SSS are disclosed. An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode a configuration message from a source serving cell, the configuration message indicating signal selection criteria for cell measurement reporting. A synchronization signal (SS) burst set associated with one or more transmission/reception points (TRPs) within a neighboring cell is decoded, the SS burst set including a plurality of SS blocks. A cell beamforming measurement signal associated with the neighboring cell is generated, based on signal measurements of the SS blocks and the signal selection criteria. A radio resource management (RRM) measurement report message is encoded for transmission to the serving cell, the measurement report message including the cell beamforming measurement signal. A handover command message for initiating a handover to the neighboring cell is decoded, the handover command based on the cell beamforming measurement signal.

  • Patent number: 10448237
Abstract: A radio resource management requirement is described for a device-to-device inter-carrier discovery gap. A device to device (D2D) user equipment (UE) interruption requirement can be specified in which the interruption is not allowed. In one example, operations include receiving device-to-device (D2D) discovery data on a D2D discovery data frequency in a receive chain of a user equipment (UE) during a set of subframes, tuning the receive chain of the UE to a wireless access network (WAN) data frequency, and receiving WAN data in the receive chain of the UE on the WAN data frequency from a primary cell (PCell) during the set of subframes, wherein the D2D discovery data is received during a gap in receiving the WAN data without an interruption in the WAN data.

  • Publication number: 20190303314
Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a flash interface controller and an operation command processing method, and relate to the field of data storage. Programmable first type microcode and second type microcode are introduced to a flash interface controller. The first type microcode can be modified through programming to adapt to a procedure of parsing an operation command of a new protocol, and the second type microcode can be modified through programming to adapt to a flash bus operation required by a new flash interface standard. An operation command can be parsed by only fixing logics of physical modules in the flash interface controller and reading first type microcode and second type microcode that are related to the operation command. Therefore, various protocols and flash interface standards can be adapted to, and flexibility is good.
