  • Publication number: 20210227073
Abstract: A data subscription system provides emergency event data to receiving systems. The data subscription system includes an event emitter and a distribution module. The event emitter receives event data describing an event in a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system; the event is related to an emergency call. The event emitter identifies a subscription subscribed to the event based on a tenant identifier identifying a CAD tenant associated with the event, and adds a data message with the event data to a queue for the identified subscription. The distribution module retrieves the data message from the queue, transforms the data message based on one or more filtering or formatting rules, and transmits the transformed data message to a receiving system associated with the subscription.

  • Publication number: 20210183408
Abstract: Techniques of playing back a looping video file involve providing multiple video codecs for decoding a video file. Each video codec performs its own decoding operation on the looping video file, resulting in multiple buffers of video frames and a buffer of audio frames. Then, as the GPU renders the ending video frames from a first buffer, it begins rendering the beginning video frames from a second buffer. In this way, the beginning of a next video cycle is already rendered for viewing by the time a current video cycle is ending.

  • Publication number: 20210150047
Abstract: Systems and methods to control data access and usage by storing a permitted use of a set of data items. The permitted use identifies: a set of computer resources to be used to operate on the set of data items; rules for operating on the data items; and a data product to be generated from the set of computer resources operating on the set of data items. A project space provides the set of computer resources to operate on the set of data items according to the permitted use, wherein the data product is to be transferred from the project space to a user device separate from the system; and a usage monitor records operations of the set of computer resources on the set of data items in the project space for compliance with the permitted use. A data air-lock mechanism implements dynamic permissions rules based on actual usages.

  • Publication number: 20210072161
Abstract: Ways of detecting an aqueous solution in a glycol ether are provided, including detecting an aqueous solution, such as diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) in fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII). A metal salt and the glycol ether are combined, and the glycol ether is identified as including the aqueous solution when the combined metal salt and the glycol ether result in a color change. The presence of the aqueous solution, including the presence of ammonia derived from urea, can indicate contamination of FSII with water and/or DEF and identify the container or reservoir of FSII as unsuitable for addition to aviation fuel.

  • Publication number: 20210067320
Abstract: Multiple, separately administrated computer systems storing slices of the cipher text of a Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data item that is represented by a token. The token is used as a substitute of the data item. The data item is encrypted using a public key. To recover the data item, a complete set of the slices is retrieved from the separate computer systems and decrypted using the private key corresponding to the public key. Instances and circumstances of the usages of the data item can be recorded under the token in a blockchain ledger in connection with the retrieval and/or decryption of the cipher text. A data item owner may use the data item and the public key to recreate the cipher text, retrieve the token stored with the cipher text in the separate computer systems, and then query the ledger for a usage history of the data item.

  • Publication number: 20210062626
Abstract: A method of producing fluid from a wellbore includes operating a pump located proximate to a zone of fluid influx in the wellbore to draw a fluid from a reservoir into the wellbore at the zone of fluid influx. A first section of a tubing string is coupled to, and extends above, the pump, and a second section of the tubing string is coupled to, and extends below, the pump. A packer seals a first annular space around the first section of the tubing string. The method further includes operating the pump to move the fluid from the second section of the tubing string and into the first section of the tubing string.

The strike comprises a housing defining an entry chamber. A keeper is disposed in the entry chamber about an axis for rotation between a locked position and an unlocked position. A unitized actuator module is provided including a body, a keeper release and an actuator movable between first and second positions. When the actuator is in one of the first or second positions the keeper release is coupled to the keeper and the keeper is secured in the locked position. When the actuator is selectively moved to the other of the first or second positions the keeper release is decoupled from the keeper and the keeper is rotatable to the unlocked position.
