  • Publication number: 20150350463
Abstract: A photo processing kiosk displays a catalog of photo enhancement items. In response to a user selection of a first photo enhancement item, detailed information of the first photo enhancement item is displayed, including a first button to associate a photo from the user with the first photo enhancement item. In response to an activation of the first button, a user agreement is displayed and the user is prompted to accept terms of the user agreement in order to acquire the first photo enhancement item. A signal is received via a second button displayed with the user agreement indicating an acceptance of the user agreement. In response to the signal indicating a user acceptance of the user agreement, a photo processing operation is performed on an image received from the user by integrating the image with the first photo enhancement item, generating a photo enhancement product.

  • Publication number: 20150106536
Abstract: A power conversion device is configured to convert power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power to universal serial bus (USB) power to yield a USB charging port. The conversion device can conform to a number of modular and/or portable form factors, allowing existing Ethernet data ports to be easily converted to USB charging ports. Embodiments include a modular conversion device configured to mount in a window of an existing wall plate as a replacement for an unused Ethernet data port, and a portable conversion device that can be plugged into an existing Ethernet data port. The conversion device receives PoE power from the Ethernet network, converts the PoE power to an appropriate USB standard, and delivers the power to an integrated USB charging port.

  • Publication number: 20140357576
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods for enhancing muscle protein synthesis in an individual in need of same. Specifically, the present disclosure provides methods for enhancing muscle protein synthesis by enhancing myofibrillar muscle protein synthesis. The method includes administering to the individual a mixed macronutrient composition having (i) an amount of whey protein that is not capable of enhancing myofibrillar protein synthesis when ingested by itself and (ii) free leucine. The composition comprises at least about 5.0 g total leucine per dose.

  • Patent number: 8870186
Abstract: A seal assembly for use with a casing hanger that includes a pair of split rings held together by a threaded fastener. Torqueing the fastener axially compresses one of the rings so that it expands radially inward into sealing engagement with a wall of wellbore casing, and radially outward against an inner wall of a wellhead housing. Support grommets are provided where the fastener enters and exits the compressible ring. Protrusions on a side of the support grommets project into the compressible ring and create a sealing interface between each support grommet and compressible ring. O-rings line inner circumferences of the support grommets to seal between the support grommets and fasteners. A threaded end on a lower end of the fastener has a diameter less than an inner diameter of the O-rings to prevent damaging the O-rings during assembly.

  • Patent number: 8763940
Abstract: An upper plate is spaced from a lower plate by a gap. Teeth extend from a lower surface of the upper plate toward the lower plate. The gap between the upper plate and the lower plate has a first size larger than a second size with the gap adjustable in height between the first size and the second size. Media storage items can be placed within the gap. A compression force is applied to move the plates toward each other and drive the teeth into the item. Preferably, relief holes are provided in the lower plate aligned with the teeth extending from the upper plate so that the teeth can entirely penetrate the item to be destroyed within the gap. Preferably, teeth also extend up from the lower plate. Guards associated with each plate sheath the teeth until the teeth extend into the gap for item destruction.

  • Publication number: 20130303250
Abstract: A method of playing a card game with at least one player is disclosed. The method comprises providing a plurality of cards and requiring the player(s) to announce at least one bet on an outcome of a set of drawn cards from the plurality of cards, the bet predicting a suit, denomination, or color of a first drawn card from the set of drawn cards, or the suits, denominations, or colors of the set of drawn cards. A first card is drawn and the bets are evaluated. Three additional cards are drawn from the plurality of the cards and any bets predicting the set of cards are evaluated.
