  • Publication number: 20210195840
Abstract: A vehicle automated unloading system may include a fill model and an unloading controller. The fill model is a model of a fill characteristic of a container as a function of variables comprising material unloading times, material unloading rates and material unloading locations. The unloading controller is to (a) determine a current model-based fill characteristic of the container using the dynamic fill model and (b) output control signals to adjust at least one of a material unloading time, a material unloading rate and a material unloading location based upon the current model-based fill characteristic of the container.

  • Publication number: 20210124950
Abstract: An object tracking system that includes a sensor that is configured to capture frames of at least a portion of a global plane for a space. The system further includes a position sensor that is configured to output (x,y) coordinates corresponding with the physical location of the sensor within the space. The system is configured to receive an (x,y) coordinate within the space for the sensor from the position sensor. The (x,y) coordinate corresponds with a new physical location of the sensor within the space. The system is further configured to determine translation coefficients for the sensor based on a difference between the (x,y) coordinate and a previous (x,y) coordinate for the sensor. The system is further configured to update a homography associated with the sensor by applying the translation coefficients to the homography and to store the updated homography.

  • Publication number: 20210125476
Abstract: A rack for a scalable tracking system includes weight sensors disposed on shelves that hold items. The weight sensors detect the weight of the items and communicates signals indicating that weight to a circuit board positioned in the rack. The circuit board communicates these detected weights to a weight server that determines, based on these weights, whether items were removed from the shelves.

  • Patent number: 10970761
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide a geo-targeted online reservation system that ensures authenticity of customer devices requesting reservations by generating reservations only if threshold authentication conditions are satisfied. For example, a computing device registered with a server system receives inputs for requesting a reservation of a limited release product and for configuring the product. To authenticate the computing device, the server device transmits an electronic message to the computing device requesting the computing device to respond. A response to the message is one threshold authentication condition for generating the reservation. Upon determining that one or more threshold authentication conditions are satisfied, the server device generates a reservation for the product.

  • Publication number: 20200401640
Abstract: A control center includes a display screen for displaying different social media and social media analytics. The control center includes an enhanced notification device that operates independently and remotely from the display screen. A media controller receives a selection of a search term, selection of an analytic, and selection of a trigger event for the analytic. The control center obtains social media from different networks containing the search term and generates the selected analytic from the social media. The media controller activates the enhanced notification device when the trigger event is detected in the analytic. The activated notification device provides a different environmental attribute than the display screen that is more effective in gaining the attention of the control center operators.

  • Publication number: 20200273063
Abstract: An operator enters a name of a company, product, or any other entity into a user interface. A hashtag analytic system then automatically discovers social media campaigns associated with that entity based on hashtag or keyword usage in associated posted messages. The hashtag analytic system may automatically discover the social media accounts for the entity and then scan messages posted on the social media accounts for hashtags. The hashtag analytic system groups together posted messages that include campaign related hashtags and generates analytics for the groups of messages associated with the same campaigns.

  • Patent number: 10723540
Abstract: A thermally insulated holder for beverage cans includes a cylindrical sleeve and a retaining ring that couples to the upper end of the sleeve. A beverage can fits into the sleeve with the upper portion of the can extending above the sleeve. The retaining ring has a circular opening in its upper wall that engages the shoulder of the can to clamp the can in place. The retaining ring has a side wall that extends outward of the sleeve and down over the upper end of the sleeve. The lower edge of the retaining ring side wall defines a ledge. A user can grasp the sleeve with one or more fingers in contact with the ledge to provide a more comfortable and secure grip.

  • Publication number: 20200226526
Abstract: A command center provides ad-hoc search and navigation through different dimensional topic levels that allow users to better analyze and correlate data. The command center not only generates and displays content and metrics associated with an event, but can also generate and display real-time content and metrics for other topics, products, and/or services related to a currently displayed topic. The command center enables a user to navigate through the different dimensional levels simply by selecting items displayed by a remote control application. The command center also automatically synchronizes the content and metrics for any selected dimension to a same corresponding time period.

  • Patent number: 10694879
Abstract: A tree stand for removably supporting a tree includes a base having a water basin. A plurality of spaced apart jaws are biased upwardly and inwardly of an axis of the base to form an expandable clamp. An end of a trunk of the tree forcibly expands the jaws against their bias as the trunk is inserted into the water basin. The jaws of the clamp engage an outer surface of the trunk as they are biased towards their closed position to hold the tree vertically upright and stable.
