Abstract: A system for controlling power in a facility having an electrical system including an energy storage device and a generator and an associated fuel tank. The fuel tank provides fuel to the generator and has a gauge indicating remaining fuel. Both the energy storage device and the generator operate. The generator may be used to provide power to the facility, the energy storage device, or both simultaneously. A first power consuming device imposes a first load connected to the electrical system and second power consuming device imposes a second load connected to the electrical system. The system receives information related to the loads and calculates an initial estimated run time of the energy storage device, and information related to the first load and information related to the second load. The system selectively removes the second load in a simulation and calculates a second run time of the energy storage device.

Abstract: A conditions monitoring system may include a system controller. The controller may include a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The computer readable medium may include instructions executable by the device processor to perform the following steps: receiving positional data from a wearable device of a wearer; receiving physical data regarding the wearer from the wearable device; making a determination of a possible dangerous condition based on the data received from the wearable device; and providing instructions to the wearable device for the wearer to follow to avoid danger related to the dangerous condition.

Abstract: System and a method for rendering augmented-reality (AR) enhanced images and information to potential home buyers by providing the AR-enhanced images over a local network. The system includes a computer loaded with an AR application configured to communicate with potential home buyers' personal devices, which have an AR application for communicating with that computer. The potential home buyers can then take a virtual tour of the house, with images that show the different rooms of the house, rendered by the AR to display rooms populated with the home buyers' furniture.

Abstract: A system and method for determining and storing website data from high traffic websites in memory during a large event at an event location for access by mobile computing devices through an event application is disclosed. The method may include determining, by a local server system at the event location, high traffic websites from the detected plurality of websites accessed by the users through the mobile computing devices at the event location. The method may also include allowing a user to select a website and retrieve website data for the selected website from the memory of the local server system when the selected website is a high traffic website by converting a uniform resource locator of the website managed by a service provider to a local uniform resource locator pointing to a storage location of website data stored in the local server system.

Abstract: A system and method for dispatching messages from a user to at least one recipient over a telecommunications network is disclosed. The system includes a messaging system and an authentication system. The messaging system receives user messages, retrieves contact information for recipients on a user's contact list, and attempts to deliver messages to recipients on the list. The system may continue attempting to deliver messages to recipients until it finds a recipient who is available to receive the message. The authentication system is used to ensure the recipient is a person and not a machine. The messages could be audio messages delivered using a telephone network or messages delivered over an SMS network.

Abstract: A system and method for providing an interactive voice response dialogue by using a cloud computing system coupled to a mobile computing device. The cloud computing system may receive a request from a mobile computing device to initiate communication with an interactive voice response system having a tree structure including audio files in the cloud computing system. An interactive voice response dialogue may be conducted using the cloud computing system when the mobile computing device does not have the capacity to receive the one or more files. When the mobile computing device does have the capacity to receive the one or more files, one or more files may be transmitted from the cloud computing system to the mobile computing device, so that he mobile computing device may conduct the interactive voice response dialogue.

Abstract: A system and method for determining and storing website data from one or more high traffic websites in a cache using a router during an event at an event location for access by mobile computing devices is disclosed. The method may include determining one or more high traffic websites from the plurality of websites accessed by the users through the mobile computing devices at the event location, storing the website data from the one or more high traffic websites in the cache, and directing the mobile computing devices at the event location to access the website data from the cache instead of from the one or more high traffic websites to reduce a load on one or more base stations of the cellular network configured to communicate with the one or more high traffic websites.

Abstract: When a customer service representative (CSR) calls a customer, the customer may be able to authenticate himself or herself by providing the CSR with personal identifying information. However, the CSR may be unable to provide information to authenticate himself or herself to the customer. Thus, this patent document describes authentication techniques that can allow the CSR to authenticate himself or herself to the customer. For example, before or during a call that the second person (e.g., CSR) initiates to call a first person (e.g., customer), a notification message may be sent to the first person's user device. The content of notification message displayed on the user device may provide information to the first person which can allow the first person to determine whether the second person is trustworthy.

Abstract: A climate control system for electronic equipment may include an electronic equipment room including a plurality of peripheral walls defining a chamber configured to receive a plurality of pieces of electronic equipment and having one or more interior partitions dividing the chamber into two or more subchambers. In addition, the system may also include a cooling system configured to provide the two or more subchambers with different levels of cooling, wherein at least one partition of the one or more interior partitions is movable from a first position defining a first subchamber to a second position defining a second subchamber in a different area of the room than the first subchamber.

Abstract: A system to improve cooling of rack mounted components may include a first rack mounted component including a first motherboard, the first motherboard having a hot area that is generally hotter than other portions of the motherboard, the hot area proximate a first edge. In addition, the system may include a second rack mounted component disposed above the first rack mounted component; the second rack mounted component having a second motherboard, wherein the second motherboard is similar to the first motherboard; the second motherboard having a first edge; wherein the second motherboard is disposed above the first motherboard, and wherein the second motherboard is angled with respect to the first motherboard so that the first edge of the second motherboard is non-aligned with the first edge of the first motherboard.
