  • Patent number: 9057005
Abstract: A powder and gel concentrate for a sealing solution is provided. The concentrate is comprised of a biocide, dye and acid buffer. This concentrate can be hydrated or dissolved using standard tap (mineralized) water to produce a sealing solution. The acid buffer keeps the minerals in the tap water suspended in solution, thereby preventing the solid scale (mineral build-up) that would otherwise clog the filters of a sealing system.

  • Patent number: 9027937
Abstract: An electronically adjustable damper system includes at least one electronically adjustable damper. The electronically adjustable damper includes at least one electronically controlled valve, whereby, the damper is electronically adjustable. The electronically adjustable damper system also includes a controller for adjusting each of the electronically adjustable dampers independently via the electronically controlled valves, and a remote electronic device. The electronically adjustable damper system allows a user to tune the dampers by allowing a user to adjust the electronically adjustable damper system to different applications and functions for various users, conditions, or both.

  • Patent number: 8874622
Abstract: A method includes connecting an integration process to a first set of inputs. The first set of inputs may include one or more inputs. The integration process includes one or more data transformation operations using the inputs. The method further includes receiving metadata about one or more of the inputs in the first set of inputs. The metadata about one or more of the inputs in the first set of inputs is cached. The integration process is then connected to a second set of inputs based on the cached metadata about one or more of the inputs in the first set of inputs.

  • Publication number: 20140225336
Abstract: A hydraulic system for lowering the ride height of a vehicle includes at least one hydraulic shock mounted to the suspension of the vehicle. Each of the hydraulic shocks has a floating bearing in the hydraulic shock, and an inlet. The inlet is hydraulically connected to a central manifold that is adapted to move fluid into and out of the hydraulic shock for moving the floating bearing in each of the hydraulic shocks. When the floating bearing is moved in the hydraulic shock, the hydraulic shock shortens thereby lowering the ride height of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20130074768
Abstract: A moistening system that significantly reduces the problems caused by contaminants in the moistening fluid is provided. The catch basin of a moistening system is provided with a filter that reduces the amount of contaminants contained in the recycled moistening fluid. Additionally, the moistening fluid is buffered with an acid that acts to dissolve the paper filler and other soluble debris that may be introduced into the moistening fluid, thereby significantly decreasing any blinding of components of the moistening system that would otherwise reduce the flow rate of the moistening fluid through the system. These ensure that sufficient moistening fluid is applied to the envelope flaps, which results in consistent and complete sealing of the envelope flaps.

  • Patent number: 8167318
Abstract: A hydraulic anti-roll system for a vehicle includes a first hydraulic actuator, a second hydraulic actuator, an anti-roll control module, and an anti-roll bypass valve. The first hydraulic actuator is adapted to be connected between the suspension and frame of the vehicle on one side and the second hydraulic actuator is adapted to be connected between the suspension and frame of the vehicle on its other side. The anti-roll control module is connected between the fluid lines of the first and second hydraulic actuators. The anti-roll control module stiffens the compression of the first hydraulic actuator relative to the expansion of the second hydraulic actuator, and stiffens the compression of the second hydraulic actuator relative to the expansion of the first hydraulic actuator. The anti-roll bypass valve is adapted to activate and deactivate the stiffening of the anti-roll control module.

  • Publication number: 20110307394
Abstract: A bike share system with the flexibility to anchor the rental bike anywhere at the end of the trip employs a remotely operable lockbox which incorporates a wireless communication card with a GPS receiver. The bike itself has a battery for operating the wireless communication card and the GPS receiver and a hub dynamo for recharging the battery while the vehicle is in motion. A method of operating a stationless bicycle rental business is also disclosed. The remote lock can be disengaged by sending a text message, a voice message, a smart card message, or inputting required information using a keypad on the lockbox.
