    Abstract: Techniques related to wireless communication are disclosed. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to devices and methods for improving a quality of service (QoS) by reporting near-real-time feedback relating to a delay experienced by packets queued for transmission, and dynamically scheduling a wireless station to transmit and meet its QoS. A wireless station (STA) obtains one or more packets for transmission, the packets being associated with a delay condition. The STA outputs for transmission a delay status report that includes information relating to the delay condition associated with the one or more packets. In response, the STA obtains a resource allocation for transmission of the one or more packets according to the information relating to the delay condition. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Aspects are provided for BTM-based load balancing. Various aspects relate generally to a method of load balancing where an AP multi-link device (MLD) recommends that a non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of the AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links without purging context between the AP MLD and the non-AP MLD. In some examples, if the non-AP MLD does not comply, then the non-AP MLD may face disassociation from the AP MLD. Some aspects more specifically relate to recommending that the non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of a different AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links of the different AP MLD after performing a multi-link setup with the different AP MLD. In some examples, the AP MLD may then disassociate from the non-AP MLD.

The apparatus may configure a signaling type (s-type) of the MLS subfield with a value indicating a type of MLS control signaling associated with the MLS subfield, and may configure each bit of a first subset of bits of the MLS subfield with a value indicating that the type of MLS control signaling is applicable to the respective link associated with the bit. A first wireless device and a second wireless device (e.g., access points, stations) may support transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing procedures. The second wireless device may transmit a frame indicating a capability of the second wireless device to support one or more triggered TXOP sharing modes. The second wireless device may transmit an indication (e.g., a frame) indicating to change support for the triggered TXOP sharing modes based on the capability. The change may indicate to suspend, resume, disable, or enable the triggered TXOP sharing modes. For example, the second wireless device may transmit an indication to suspend support of a first triggered TXOP sharing mode that enables the second wireless device to perform peer-to-peer transmissions. Accordingly, the first wireless device may trigger the second wireless device to communicate according to the supported triggered TXOP sharing modes.

The respective complete profiles of the primary link and the non-primary link each include capabilities, operation parameters, and other discovery information. The frame can include fields and elements that carry the complete profile of the primary link, and can include a multi-link (ML) element that indicates the complete profile of the non-primary link. The NSTR softAP MLD can receive or determine an update to the operation parameters of the non-primary link, and can transmit, on the primary link, an indication of the update to the operation parameters of the non-primary link.

Particular aspects more specifically relate to facilitating fast basic service set (BSS) transitions by wireless communication devices that support MLO. For example, some aspects provide support for station (STA) multi-link device (MLD) roaming between access point (AP) MLDs, from an AP MLD to a non-MLO AP, or from a non-MLO AP to an AP MLD. In some aspects, a STA MLD may be configured to use a medium access control (MAC) service access point address (MAC-SAP address) of the AP MLD when re-associating or communicating with a legacy AP or with an AP MLD. In such aspects, the MAC-SAP address may be used by all STAs of the non-AP MLD for fast BSS transitions.

The NSTR softAP MLD may set a Do Not Transmit (DNT) bit to a value of 1 and may operate as a single-link device on the primary link based on the unavailability of the non-primary link. In some instances, the NSTR softAP MLD determines that the non-primary link is available while operating as the single-link device on the primary link, resets the DNT bit based on the availability of the non-primary link, and transmits the reset DNT bit in another frame on only the primary link.
