  • Publication number: 20220113782
Abstract: Reducing power consumption of communication interfaces by clock frequency scaling and adaptive interleaving of polling is disclosed. In a first aspect, a control system controls transmission of a command via a serial interface at a higher clock frequency. After transmission, the control system and the interface are operated at a lower clock frequency to save power during command execution. In this aspect, a reduction in polling corresponds to the reduction in clock signal frequency. When the command is complete, the interface is operated at the higher frequency to send another command. In a second aspect, after the control system sends a command to the receiving device, polling is suspended and an execution time of the command is tracked. Polling begins when the tracked execution time almost equals an expected completion time. Both aspects disclosed above may be implemented to reduce power consumption in exchange for a small increase in latency.

  • Publication number: 20220108296
Abstract: Systems for contactless event processing are provided. In some examples, functionality of a self-service kiosk may be requested. In response, a user may be authenticated and a first interactive user interface may be generated and displayed by the self-service kiosk. A user may capture an image of the generated first interactive user interface displayed by the self-service kiosk using, for instance, an image capture device of a user computing device. The captured image may be displayed by a display of the user computing device and the user may provide user input to the user computing device selecting a displayed option. The user input may be processed and mapped to functionality associated with the self-service kiosk. Based on the mapping, one or more instructions or commands may be generated and transmitted to the self-service kiosk. The self-service kiosk may execute the instructions or commands to execute the requested functionality.

  • Publication number: 20220100386
Abstract: Generally described, one or more aspects of the present application relate to a public snapshot service for creating and managing block-level snapshots. For example, the public snapshot service can create a snapshot based on (i) a specification of a parent snapshot to be used as a basis for a given snapshot, and (ii) a specification of the data blocks to be backed up in the given snapshot. The data blocks in the snapshot may be stored in a specific storage path structure that facilitates computation of a block difference with respect to the parent snapshot.

  • Publication number: 20220086004
Abstract: A system receives a login sample. The login sample is decomposed into first and second layers. A verification media sample is decomposed into first and second layers. The system determines that the first layer of the login sample does not match the first layer of the verification sample, that the second layer of the login sample does not match the second layer of the verification sample, or both. First and second critical portions are extracted from the login sample. A first and second login hash are generated from the first and second critical portions. A first and second ledger hash are retrieved from a blockchain ledger. It's determined that the first login hash does not match the first ledger hash, the second login hash does not match the second ledger hash, or both. The user is flagged.

  • Publication number: 20220086143
Abstract: A system receives a media sample. The system then identifies a critical portion of the media sample. The media sample is split into a verification sample comprising the critical portion of the media sample. The verification sample is decomposed into a first and second layer. A first hash value is generated based on the first layer by applying a hash function to a first code element from the verification sample. A second hash value is generated based on the second layer by applying the hash function to a second code element from the verification sample. A blockchain transaction is generated comprising a profile associated with the user. The transaction is stored as a block in a blockchain ledger.

  • Patent number: 11269861
Abstract: A system includes a database, a memory, and a processor. The database stores a set of transactions, each of which includes a set of fields. The processor receives a query from a user through a channel. The query is directed to a transaction stored in the database. The transaction includes a set of fields. The processor applies a machine learning policy adapted to determine a view, i.e., a subset of the set of fields that the user is likely to access using the channel. The processor further accesses the database and retrieves the view. The processor then sends the view to the channel.

  • Patent number: 11265396
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to system structured for dynamically adapted, time latency-based, cross channel data caching for performing electronic activities. The invention is structured for selective proactive data caching based on interdependency of electronic activities and transformation of cached data for transmission through a plurality of communication channels, for reducing memory and processing burdens on data caching servers and reducing turnaround time for activity execution. Specifically, the invention is configured to detect initiation of a first technology activity event by a user at a first time, and in response, determine a second interdependent technology activity event. The invention is also structured for caching second event data for the second technology activity event prior to a second time associated with initiation of the second technology activity event at a second network device associated with a second communication channel.

  • Patent number: 11256607
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for providing a test environment, composed of one or more virtual machines, to a developer instantly in response to a checkout request from the developer. To do this, a sandbox service implements a smart, tiered approach to creating and provisioning virtual machines that compose the test environments. The approach is flexible and elastic in nature, so that the developers do not have to wait an extended period of time for a test environment, yet the costs associated with configuring the virtual machines (e.g., storage and compute costs) are minimized. For example, the sandbox service can use historical data to predict a number of checkout requests expected for a first time interval (e.g., one day), a second time interval (e.g., thirty minutes), and a third time interval (e.g., five minutes). The sandbox service can then configure virtual machines into different states based on the predicted numbers.

  • Publication number: 20220036325
Abstract: A system configured for managing a split transaction is disclosed. The system receives a request from a first user device associated with a first user to initiate a split transaction session between the first, second, and third users. A first user device associated with the first user includes second contact information associated with the second user. A second user device associated with the second user includes third contact information associated with the third user. The system receives an API request from the first user device to retrieve a third user profile. The system sends a request to the second user device to retrieve the third user profile. The second user device retrieves the third user profile and sends it to the system. The system retrieves the second and third user profiles and adds them to the split transaction session. The system conducts the split transaction session.
