  • Publication number: 20240171737
Abstract: A cloud service system manages a filter repository including filters for encoding and decoding media content (e.g. text, image, audio, video, etc.). The cloud service system may receive a request from a client device to provide a filter for installation on a node such as an endpoint device (e.g. pipeline node). The request includes information such as a type of bitstream to be processed by the requested filter. The request may further include other information such as hardware configuration and functionality attribute. The cloud service system may access the filter repository that stores the plurality of filters including encoder filters and decoder filters and may select a filter that is configured to process the type of bitstream identified in the request and provide the selected filter to the client device.

  • Publication number: 20240171596
Abstract: A message addressed to a user is received. A first model is applied to the message to produce a first output indicative of whether the message is representative of a non-malicious message. The first model is trained using past messages that have been verified as non-malicious messages. It is determined, based on the first output, that the message is potentially a malicious message. Responsive to determining that the message is potentially a malicious email based on the first output, apply a second model to the message to produce a second output indicative of whether the message is representative of a given type of attack. The second model is one of a plurality of models. At least one model included in the plurality of models is associated with characterizing a goal of the malicious message. An action is performed with respect to the message based on the second output.

  • Publication number: 20240172315
Abstract: During operation, the computer system (such as a controller) may receive, from an access point, information specifying an electronic device that has the connection with the access point. Then, based at least in part on the information, the computer system may store a mapping between the electronic device and the access point. Moreover, the computer system may receive, from the access point or a second access point, a notification message, where the notification message is associated with an orphan notification of the electronic device. Next, in response to receiving the notification message, the computer system may perform a look-up operation for the electronic device in the stored mapping. Furthermore, when the electronic device is included in the stored mapping, the computer system may selectively provide, to the access point and based at least in part on the stored mapping, second information specifying the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240171544
Abstract: A method for secure data synchronization and sharing between distinct cloud environments is disclosed. The method involves establishing a trust relationship between a data provider's private cloud deployment and a data consumer's public cloud deployment. Utilizing hardware processors, a cross-region group sharing token is generated and validated to facilitate secure communication and data traffic between the two cloud deployments. Upon validation, a firewall policy that previously restricted data exchange is disabled, allowing for the replication of a target database from the private cloud to a secure share area accessible by the public cloud deployment. The data consumer is then enabled to access and utilize the replicated database within this secure area. The method ensures consistent data management across both deployments by managing the synchronization of the replicated database with the data provider's original database, thereby maintaining data consistency and integrity.

  • Publication number: 20240171457
Abstract: In one embodiment, dynamic user private networks are virtually segmented within a shared virtual network. A network control system maintains the dynamic logical segmentation of the shared virtual network. User entities (e.g., user devices and/or services) are communicatively coupled to respective personal virtual networks via endpoints of access devices. Each of these endpoints is associated with a corresponding user private network. Responsive in real-time to automated processing of a received electronic particular user request, the network control system automatically modifies the dynamic logical segmentation of the shared virtual network to move a particular user entity on the shared virtual network to newly being on the first dynamic user private network without being disconnected from the shared virtual network. One embodiment uses different user private network identifiers (UPN-IDs) associated with endpoints and received packets to identify their respective user private network.

  • Publication number: 20240171769
Abstract: A compression system trains a machine-learned compression model that includes components for an encoder and decoder. In one embodiment, the compression model is trained to receive parameter information on how a target frame should be encoded with respect to one or more encoding parameters, and encodes the target frame according to the respective values of the encoding parameters for the target frame. In particular, the encoder of the compression model includes at least an encoding system configured to encode a target frame and generate compressed code that can be transmitted by, for example, a sender system to a receiver system. The decoder of the compression model includes a decoding system trained in conjunction with the encoding system. The decoding system is configured to receive the compressed code for the target frame and reconstruct the target frame for the receiver system.

  • Patent number: 11989657
Abstract: Herein, a computer generates and evaluates many preprocessor configurations for a window preprocessor that transforms a training timeseries dataset for an ML model. With each preprocessor configuration, the window preprocessor is configured. The window preprocessor then converts the training timeseries dataset into a configuration-specific point-based dataset that is based on the preprocessor configuration. The ML model is trained based on the configuration-specific point-based dataset to calculate a score for the preprocessor configuration. Based on the scores of the many preprocessor configurations, an optimal preprocessor configuration is selected for finally configuring the window preprocessor, after which, the window preprocessor can optimally transform a new timeseries dataset such as in an offline or online production environment such as for real-time processing of a live streaming timeseries.

  • Publication number: 20240160353
Abstract: Aspects relate to Input/Output (IO) Memory Management Units (MMUs) that include hardware structures for implementing virtualization. Some implementations allow guests to setup and maintain device IO tables within memory regions to which those guests have been given permissions by a hypervisor. Some implementations provide hardware page table walking capability within the IOMMU, while other implementations provide static tables. Such static tables may be maintained by a hypervisor on behalf of guests. Some implementations reduce a frequency of interrupts or invocation of hypervisor by allowing transactions to be setup by guests without hypervisor involvement within their assigned device IO regions. Devices may communicate with IOMMU to setup the requested memory transaction, and completion thereof may be signaled to the guest without hypervisor involvement. Various other aspects will be evident from the disclosure.
