  • Patent number: 12316539
Abstract: Methods and devices configure edge nodes of a virtual network overlay to continuously forward data plane traffic flows between client devices of a common subnet over the course of at least some of the edge nodes being EF-configured. TF-configured edge nodes and EF-configured edge nodes both play roles in unilaterally inducing address discovery by sending to client devices address discovery responses that were not prompted by address discovery requests. TF-configured edge nodes then handle ensuing address discovery requests by proxy, and subsequently handle certain traffic flows according to an EF-compatible forwarding mode, while EF-configured edge nodes continue to forward traffic flows by IP routing normally. This averts throughput of data plane traffic over the network overlay being reduced as a side effect of the heterogeneously configured edge nodes, and averts the possibility of client devices broadcasting address discovery protocol requests as a result of remote client devices being unreachable.

  • Publication number: 20250165403
Abstract: A memory sub-system configured to manage programming mode transitions to accommodate a constant size of data transfer between a host system and a memory sub-system. The memory sub-system counts single-page transitions of atomic programming modes performed within a memory sub-system and determines whether or not to allow any two-page transition of atomic programming modes based on whether an odd or even number of the single-page transitions have been counted. When an odd number of the transitions have been counted, no two-page transition is allowed; otherwise, one or more two-page transitions are allowable. A next transition of atomic programming modes is selected based on the determining of whether or not to allow any two-page transitions.

  • Publication number: 20250156772
Abstract: A system can identify data points associated with a profile data structure for a first time interval. The system can detect, from a data source, events indicative of modifying the data points associated with the profile data structure for a second time interval. The system can update, based on the events, one or more machine learning models of a hybrid machine learning model. The system can generate a predicted data point associated with the profile data structure based on the data points and the events being input into the hybrid machine learning model. The system can determine a variance in response to comparing the predicted data point for the second time interval to the data points identified for the first time interval. The system can transmit the variance to a payroll processing system to execute, for the second time interval, a network operation associated with the profile data structure.

  • Publication number: 20250155959
Abstract: Devices, networks, systems, methods, and processes for determining a dynamic bias associated with a network device are described herein. A communication network may include multiple network devices and multiple links between the network devices. The communication network may further include a controller that monitors the communication network to determine dynamic changes in a network topology of the communication network. The controller determines the dynamic bias associated with the network device based on the dynamic changes. The controller generates and transmits a control signal based on the dynamic bias. The network device receives the control signal and switches an operation state of the network device, or an operation state of the links connected to the network device, based on the control signal. The controller can thereby achieve reduction in power consumption of the communication network by switching off the network device without affecting reliability and availability of the communication network.
