  • Publication number: 20220326875
Abstract: Systems and method are provided for operating a multi-array memory that includes a left memory array and a right memory array of a memory bank. A command is received at memory input pins. A signal representative of the command is propagated to an array control inhibitor. An array inhibit command is received on one or more other pins of the memory and provided to the array control inhibitor. The array control inhibitor is used to prevent arrival of the command to one of the left memory array and the right memory array based on the array inhibit command.

  • Publication number: 20220319564
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling a sleep operation for a memory array. A memory system may include a memory array with a memory cell and a word line driver, the memory array receiving a word line clock signal that enables and disables memory read and write operations of the memory cell. The memory array may further including a switching circuit coupled between the word line driver and a power source, the switching circuit being controlled by a local word line sleep signal to turn power to the word line driver on and off. A latch circuit may generate the local word line sleep signal in response to a delayed clock signal and one or more power management control signals. The word line clock signal and the delayed clock signal may both being generated as a function of a memory clock signal.

  • Publication number: 20220319557
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling power down of an integrated dual rail memory circuit. The power down system is configured to power down the power rail for input and logic components (VDD) while maintaining power to the power rail for the memory cells (VDDM). The power down system includes two voltage rails, a clock generator, and a power detector for detecting the power on VDD. The power detector generates an isolated power signal when voltage on VDD is below a voltage threshold. The isolated power signal is configured to disable the clock generator and thus reduce dynamic power as the read/write cycle is not triggered during power down.

  • Patent number: 11463772
Abstract: Advertisements for brands that are to be aired during media programs are selected based on similarities between the brands and creators of the media programs. As a media program is being aired, data representing content of a media program is processed to identify words being spoken or sung during the media program and sentiments associated with the media program. The media program is classified based on the words and sentiments, and a classification of the media program is compared to attributes of advertisements to determine which of the advertisements is best suited for airing during the media program. Additionally, a set of words that, if spoken or sung during a media program would establish conditions favorable to a given advertisement may be identified and provided to a creator.

  • Publication number: 20220293267
Abstract: A framework for generating reasons for imaging studies. An extractor, including a reinforcement learning agent, is trained to select one or more relevant sentences from the training histories of present illness. An abstractor is further pre-trained to generate one or more reasons for study from the one or more relevant sentences. An entity linking system is pre-trained using medical text corpora to map one or more mentions in the one or more reasons for study to one or more standardized medical entities for predicting one or more diagnoses. The reinforcement learning agent may then be re-trained using one or more rewards generated by the entity linking system. One or more reasons for study may be generated from a current history of present illness using the trained extractor, abstractor and entity linking system.

  • Patent number: 11438225
Abstract: A load control system may be commissioned using beacons. The load control system may include control devices that each include a beacon transmitting circuit configured to transmit a beacon that comprises an identifier associated with the control device. A network device, such as a mobile device, may discover a control device based on the beacon received from the control device. In response to discovery of the control device, the control device may be added to a temporary group of control devices for being collectively configured and/or controlled. Control devices may be discovered based on the signal strength at which the beacons are received. The control devices may provide feedback to a user in response to confirmation messages to indicate to a user that the lighting control device has been added to the temporary group. The control devices may stop providing the feedback after they are removed from the temporary group.

  • Publication number: 20220272117
Abstract: Certain edge networking devices such as application gateways may report status to a cloud-based threat management platform using a persistent network connection between the gateway and the cloud platform. Where a cloud computing platform for an edge networking device or the treat management platform imposes periodic timeouts, the threat management platform may monitor connects and disconnects for edge devices and asynchronously evaluate connection status of edge devices independently of a heartbeat or other signal through the persistent connection in order to distinguish periodic timeouts imposed by the cloud computing platform from networking devices that are compromised or malfunctioning.

  • Patent number: 11418570
Abstract: A client device is tracked over a period of time using “refresh tokens” that are exchanged in conjunction with routine client-server communications. Each communication cycle between client and server includes a refresh token that is recorded at the server. The recorded refresh tokens are mapped to both server- and client-generated device identifiers. As communications between client and server occur, a chain of tokens, one for each communication cycle, is progressively recorded at the server. If the server receives a token that is outdated with respect to that which is otherwise expected based on the progression of the recorded chain, this suggests that the received communication was transmitted from a device that is a clone of another client device. A more robust device identification framework is therefore achieved by using a combination of device identifiers and tokens exchanged between client and server.

  • Patent number: 11410390
Abstract: The invention provides an augmented reality device and method for assisting a user in choosing appropriate luminaire fixtures to install within their home. A user may point the camera of a mobile device toward the region or location in a room where a new luminaire is desired, and based upon data generated by an orientation determination means included within the device, an appropriate luminaire or luminaire category is selected automatically for the user from a stored catalogue or database. Once an appropriate luminaire has been chosen, it is inserted within an image captured by the camera to generate an augmented reality image depicting the luminaire fixture in place within the user's room.

  • Patent number: 11410196
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for managing delivery of content and tracking the same via audio cues. For example, a client computing device may monitor ambient sound for audio that matches audio sampled from broadcast content. In response to detecting matching audio, the client computing device transmits tracking data to a centralized content server. The content server records the tracking information and evaluates whether the matching audio was detected within a geographic area associated with the broadcast content. If so, the content server executes additional actions including transmitting supplemental content to the client computing device and/or updating summary level metrics that indicate receptions of broadcast content within target geographic locations.

  • Publication number: 20220245202
Abstract: A system provides document storage and sharing on behalf of nodes of a blockchain system. The system includes one or more databases and one or more servers. The one or more servers receive file content of a document from a first node of the blockchain system and stores the file content in the one or more databases. A file hash of the document is generated by applying a hash function to the file content. The file hash is sent to the first node, such as for sharing with one or more other authorized nodes. The one or more servers receives a request for the document from a second node of the blockchain system, the request including the file hash. In response, the one or more servers send the file content of the document to the second node.
