  • Patent number: 10379774
Abstract: A computer program product, according to one embodiment, includes a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith. The computer readable storage medium is not a transitory signal per se. Moreover, the program instructions readable and/or executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform a method which includes: maintaining a heat map monitoring table on a per volume basis for a plurality of volumes which includes a heat count for each data block in the respective volume. A request to delete a first volume is received, and the data blocks in the first volume are depended on by one or more other volumes of the plurality of volumes are identified. The identified data blocks and corresponding heat counts are copied to the respective one or more other volumes, and a list which includes the identified data blocks and corresponding heat counts are sent to a controller.

  • Patent number: 10351731
Abstract: Wax compositions are provided with improved properties for various applications, such as coating of corrugated cardboard or other cellulosic paper materials. As described herein, paraffin waxes having a very broad molecular weight distribution are provided, e.g., 95% carbon number spread of at least 18 carbon atoms, which result in wax compositions with a relatively hard needle penetration value, suitable blend kinematic viscosity, and provide equivalent or better wet strength and water proofing properties as compared to waxes currently commercially used in corrugated coating. The paraffin wax compositions described herein also provide a higher congealing point, thereby benefiting the high temperature properties such as oil bleed, appearance and friction coefficient of the corrugating wax coating.

  • Publication number: 20190207608
Abstract: A mixed signal system includes a digital domain and an analog domain. The analog domain includes a plurality of BARs. Each BAR includes addressable registers. The digital domain includes an interface configured to communicate with the analog domain, e.g., write data to an addressable register within a BAR by transmitting a first select signal to select a first BAR of the plurality of BARs. The interface transmits an address of the addressable register of the first BAR and broadcasts the write data to the first BAR and at least one BAR other than the first BAR. The analog domain transmits data from a second BAR of the plurality of BARs to the digital domain by gating a select BAR signal associated with each BAR with its corresponding content stored therein to form respective BAR output and further by gating the respective BAR outputs with one another.

  • Publication number: 20190130041
Abstract: Maintaining search context within a series of searches while preserving screen real estate on a computing device leads to improvements in the functionality of those computing devices and improves the user experience thereon. A helical navigation structure allows users to navigate back and forth in a search session to maintain a prior search's context to keep searches consistent while refining the search without sacrificing real estate on the display device or having to start new search sessions. New categories or subcategories that the user can explore replace search elements that handle less-refined search levels, and when a search element associated with a content item is selected, the user is provided a new interface to choose whether to explore that content or continue refining the search.
