  • Publication number: 20210241337
Abstract: As an example, a software application executing on a computing device of a channel partner may access an application programming interface (API) hosted by a server to access a manufacturer's data. The computing device may provide criteria to the API to identify a subset of a set of configurations. The computing device may be used to select a particular configuration in the subset and to perform one or more modifications to the particular configuration to create a modified configuration. The computing device may use the API to access a verification module to verify whether the modified configuration can be built. If the modified configuration is unbuildable, the computing device may be used to make additional modifications to the particular configuration until the modified configuration is verified as buildable. The channel partner may place an order for a particular quantity of the modified configuration.

  • Publication number: 20210233129
Abstract: As an example, a server may host an intelligent parts catalog that uses multiple machine learning models to identify a similarity between each part and one or more other parts in the intelligent parts catalog based on attributes of each of the parts in the intelligent parts catalog. For example, the attributes may include size, form factor, electrical characteristics, power consumption, price, regulations complied with, reliability, taxonomy, and the like. If a particular part becomes unavailable (e.g., due to weather, labor strike, or manufacturing issues), the intelligent parts catalog may provide a similarity score with each similar part that quantifies how similar each similar part is to the particular part. In this way, the same bill of materials can be used to identify parts to create a first product for a quality-conscious market, a second product for a price-sensitive market, and a third product to comply with local regulations.

  • Patent number: 11050636
Abstract: An information handling system includes service layer processing circuitry and server component processing circuitry. The service layer processing circuitry receives an electronic mail message. The server component processing circuitry may communicate with the service layer processing circuitry. The server component processing circuitry assigns an escalation card to the electronic mail message by a processor storing the escalation card and the electronic mail message in a computer memory, and determines whether a service level agreement (SLA) of the escalation card has been met. In response to the SLA not being met, the server component processing circuitry escalates the electronic mail message based on the escalation card. In response to the escalation of the electronic mail message, the server component processing circuitry notifies a sender of the electronic mail message that the electronic mail message has been escalated.

  • Publication number: 20210158845
Abstract: In some examples, a server retrieves a video and performs an audio analysis of an audio portion of the video and a video analysis of a video portion of the video. The video may provide information on modifying a hardware configuration and/or a software configuration of a computing device. The audio analysis performs natural language processing to the audio portion to determine a set of words indicative of a start and/or end of a segment. The video analysis uses a convolutional neural network to analyze the video portion to determine frames in the video portion indicative of a start and/or end of a segment. Machine learning segments the video by adding chapter markers based on the video analysis and the audio analysis. The video is indexed, hyperlinks are associated with each segment, and each hyperlink named to enable a user to select and stream a particular segment.
