Publication number: 20120188712Abstract: In a power converter in which semiconductor modules are arranged on both surfaces of a cooler for downsizing, an excellent connection between control boards and a low inductance connection between smoothing capacitors and the semiconductor modules are performed at the same time. The semiconductor modules are disposed on both surfaces of the cooler, and control boards that control the semiconductor modules are arranged opposite to the respective semiconductor modules. The semiconductor modules and the cooler are held between the control boards. A current detector or a terminal block is disposed at a position perpendicular to a surface on which the cooler and the semiconductor modules contact each other, opposite to the cooler. The respective control boards disposed on both surfaces of the cooler are electrically connected by using wirings provided in the current detector or the terminal block.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2011Publication date: July 26, 2012Applicant: MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORPORATIONInventors: Satoshi ISHIBASHI, Toshio Watanabe, Shinsuke Idenoue

Patent number: 8178192Abstract: The present invention provides a ceramic green sheet with a thin flat plate shape obtained by molding and solidifying a ceramic slurry, which contains a ceramic powder, dispersion medium, and gelling agent, into a thin flat plate. The ceramic green sheet partially includes a body that is obtained by molding and solidifying a conductor paste, which becomes a conductor later, and the body is exposed on a part of each of the both surfaces of the sheet. Plural ceramic green sheets described above are produced. The plural ceramic green sheets are successively stacked and press-bonded in the thickness direction in such a manner that the bodies included in the respective sheets are connected to each other for all combinations of the adjacent two sheets. As a result, a ceramic green sheet laminate is formed, which includes one body that is obtained by connecting the bodies included in the respective sheets.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2009Date of Patent: May 15, 2012Assignee: NGK Insulators, Ltd.Inventors: Kunihiko Yoshioka, Koji Kimura, Satoshi Ishibashi

Patent number: 7948277Abstract: A drive circuit wherein any abnormality of a semiconductor element is prevented from being erroneously sensed in a case where a gate “ON” command has entered in a state in which a gate voltage of the semiconductor element has not lowered fully. A detection process for a controlled variable of the semiconductor element is permitted only within a period which corresponds to a controlled variable of the semiconductor element at the time when an “ON” signal has been inputted to a control circuit, and a detected controlled variable which is detected within the period and a comparison controlled variable which is set in correspondence with the controlled variable are compared so as to output an abnormality signal, whereby the semiconductor element is turn-off at a speed lower than in normal turn-off.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2007Date of Patent: May 24, 2011Assignee: Mitsubishi Electric CorporationInventors: Hiroshi Nakatake, Satoshi Ishibashi, Shinsuke Idenoue, Takeshi Oi, Shinichi Kinouchi, Takeshi Horiguchi

Patent number: 5825366Abstract: According to the method of synthesizing a image from a plurality of images, each of the luminance I.sub.p1xy -I.sub.pNxy of each of the pixel p.sub.1xy -p.sub.Nxy positioned at the same coordinates (x,y) of N images P.sub.1 -P.sub.N are compared with each of the predetermined threshold luminance T.sub.1 -T.sub.N corresponding to images P.sub.1 -P.sub.N, wherein "N" is a natural number greater than 1. If the luminance I.sub.p1xy -I.sub.pNxy of the pixels p.sub.1xy -p.sub.Nxy are all greater than the corresponding threshold T.sub.1 -T.sub.N of corresponding image, the synthesized pixel p.sub.xy at the coordinate (x,y) of a synthesized image is determined by synthesizing the pixels p.sub.1xy -p.sub.Nxy with predetermined synthesis ratio for each of the images P.sub.1 -P.sub.N. If the condition described above is not satisfied, the synthesized pixel p.sub.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 1997Date of Patent: October 20, 1998Assignee: Nippon Telegraph and Telephone CorporationInventors: Takashi Yagi, Kazuho Arita, Shigeru Oikawa, Satoshi Ishibashi

Patent number: 4742558Abstract: According to an image information retrieval/display apparatus, an original image is represented by a hierarchical structure from a global image of high level to a local image of low level in accordance with resolutions thereof. Only difference information between the images of the respective levels is coded and stored, so that the number of codes will not be increased. When an operator directly designates any partial area within the displayed global image, local images are sequentially retrieved. By adding and combining the difference information of the retrieved local image in the designated area within the global image, the desired local image can be displayed at high speed.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 1985Date of Patent: May 3, 1988Assignee: Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Public CorporationInventors: Satoshi Ishibashi, Kenji Ogura, Susumu Yonezawa
