  • Patent number: 8198698
Abstract: To improve a performance of a semiconductor device having a capacitance element. An MIM type capacitance element, an electrode of which is formed with comb-shaped metal patterns composed of the wirings, is formed over a semiconductor substrate. A conductor pattern, which is a dummy gate pattern for preventing dishing in a CMP process, and an active region, which is a dummy active region, are disposed below the capacitance element, and these are coupled to shielding metal patterns composed of the wirings and then connected to a fixed potential. Then, the conductor pattern and the active region are disposed so as not to overlap the comb-shaped metal patterns in the wirings in a planar manner.

  • Publication number: 20090056981
Abstract: The thin film-laminated polyimide film contains a substrate film and a thin film layer formed at least on one surface of the substrate film. The substrate film is made of a polyimide film showing a degree of curl after a heat treatment at 300° C. of not more than 10%. Use of this thin film-laminated polyimide film as a substrate of electronic parts such as solar battery, capacitor and the like exposed to high temperatures prevents easy development of warpage and distortion during production, and can improve quality and yield of electronic parts.

  • Patent number: 7497609
Abstract: An illuminating device comprises a pair of light sources and a rod-like photoconductor. The rod-like photoconductor includes a pair of planes of incidence entered by the light from the light sources, a reflection surface having a plurality of prisms and an exit plane located opposite to the reflection surface. The width between the reflection surface and the exit plane at the planes of incidence of the rod-like photoconductor is smaller than the width of the light sources in the same direction. As a result, the brightness distribution of the light exiting from the rod-like photoconductor becomes uniform. The illuminating device is combined with a plate-like photoconductor to make up a planar illuminating device. Also, the illuminating device is combined with a liquid crystal panel to make up a liquid crystal display apparatus.
