  • Publication number: 20040022652
Abstract: An impeller pump for a fluid includes a rotary impeller (10; 20) and a pump casing (4). The pump casing defines a first pump channel (51) and a second pump channel (71). The impeller is disposed within the pump casing and opposes to the first pump channel and the second pump channel, respectively. The fluid discharged from the first pump channel and the fluid discharged from the second pump channel converge at a convergence channel (62). A pulsation canceling device serves to cancel pulsations of the fluid discharged from the first pump channel and the second pump channel, respectively. An impact reducing device (155, 175; 357; 455, 457; 555, 557) serves to reduce impacts produced by at least one of the flow of the fluid from the first pump channel and the flow of the fluid from the second channel.

  • Publication number: 20030175111
Abstract: An impeller pump has a pump casing (6) that defines a pump chamber. The pump chamber includes a first chamber (21) and a second chamber (22). An impeller (10) is rotatably disposed within the pump chamber. The impeller has a first groove group and a second groove group on opposite surfaces. The first groove group and the second groove group oppose to the first chamber and the second chamber, respectively, so that a fluid is draw into and discharged from the first and second chambers as the impeller rotates. The flows of the fluid discharged from the first and second chambers are converged at a converging channel (26). Pulsations of the fluid discharged from the fist and second chambers are canceled each other when the flows converge at the converging channel.

  • Patent number: 6597403
Abstract: There can be solved a problem in which a lock range is narrowed by using an oscillator such as a ceramic having a high Q and a horizontal deflection frequency generating system compatible with all horizontal deflection frequencies of a variety of television systems cannot be formed without difficulty. This system includes a frequency-fixed oscillator oscillating at a frequency f0 sufficiently higher than a deflection frequency fh in a multi-scan display, a first counter for counting a clock outputted from said oscillator in a descending order, a duration in which an integer n which results from rounding a decimal point of a value obtained by a division of f0 fh is divided by an integer m smaller than n and said first counter counts a value k thus obtained k times is set to one cycle and a duration in which a second counter for counting a value m times repeats the counting m cycles is set to one period and thereby generating a deflection frequency fh.

  • Patent number: 6052633
Abstract: A power steering apparatus for an electric vehicle has a steering mechanism for steering a pair of steered wheels upon receiving assist power from a steering assist-power according to a steer force required for steering the steered wheels. A fluid pressure pump driven by an electric motor supplies pressurized fluid to the steering assist-power mechanism. An electric motor controller stops the electric motor when the electric-source voltage detected by an electric source voltage detector is greater than or equal to a voltage set value and when the steer angle detected by a steer angle detector is smaller than a steer angle set value, and prohibits stopping the electric motor when the electric-source voltage is smaller than the voltage set value. Therefore, it becomes possible to ensure the steering responsiveness under an electric voltage lowered condition while avoiding the disturbance to the electric source.

  • Patent number: 6046529
Abstract: An electronic component is constructed to prevent damage and stripping off or separation at adhered portions thereof even if the component is exposed to abrupt temperature changes to thereby provide a highly reliable component. A piezoelectric vibrating element defining a first substrate and an electronic component case including a pair of substrates which are second substrates are adhered together through an adhesive layer so as to define a closed space. The adhesive layer includes a fillet portion which is arranged to extend along lateral walls of the recess to edges of the closed space to prevent separation at adhesion interface surfaces of the substrates.

  • Patent number: 5597610
Abstract: An electric component includes an electric element and terminals connected and fixed with the electric element. The electric element and parts of the terminals are covered with a coating resin. A method for covering the electric component with the resin comprises a step of coating a repelling material for repelling a releasing agent on the terminals above a standard line which is the lowest limit of parts on the terminals that are planned to be covered with the coating resin, a step of coating a releasing agent for repelling the resin on the terminals below the standard line on the terminals, the releasing agent being repelled by the repelling material, and a step of coating the resin on the electric element from the standard line on the terminals by dipping the electric element into a melted resin.

  • Patent number: 5339011
Abstract: A display device comprising a CRT having a reduced number of components for automatic cutoff adjustment. The device needs an IC having a less number of connection pins. The device adds reference pulses to given portions within every field of video signals. The resulting cathode currents are converted into voltage pulses. These voltage pulses are compared with a reference voltage by a comparator. The output signal from this comparator is counted by forward-backward counters for three primary colors, respectively, and converted into analog form. Level shift circuits for the three primary colors, respectively, control the DC components of the video signals according to the output signals from the D/A converters. In this way, the cutoff characteristics of the CRT are controlled.

  • Patent number: 5196769
Abstract: The present invention relates to a motor control device using an inverter or inverters, in particular, it relates to a motor control device suitable for the prevention of inertial rotation of a motor or motors or for the maintenance of synchronized operation of a plurality of motors in a service-interruption time; a DC side voltage is compared with a target voltage and a correction signal relating to the deviation voltage is added to a speed instruction for the inverter; thereby in a service-interruption time a motor can be continuously and smoothly decelerated keeping the DC side voltage of an inverter at a target voltage value. By utilizing a motor control device according to the present invention for a spinning machine etc., unevenness in thread winding or thread cut in a service interruption time can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4877574
Abstract: A natural circulation reactor includes a reactor pressure vessel, a cylindrical shroud disposed within the reactor pressure vessel to surround a reactor core and to extend to a position above the reactor core, and a coolant descending passage defined between the reactor pressure vessel and the shroud for allowing the coolant discharged from the top of the reactor core to be again supplied to the bottom of the reactor core. In such a natural circulation reactor, a liquid level of coolant in the coolant descending passage is adjusted on the basis of a reactor power request signal at a position below a liquid level of coolant in the shroud, and thus reactor power is controlled so that it may reach a predetermined reactor power by adjusting the liquid level of coolant in the coolant descending passage.

  • Patent number: 4808369
Abstract: Two systems of low-pressure core spray appratuses have coolers, and are adapted to supply cooling water to a core spray header provided in a core-surrounding cylindrical shroud in a reactor pressure vessel. Two systems of high-pressure core flooding apparatuses and one system of high-pressure coolant injection apparatus are adapted to supply the cooling water to a region formed between the shroud and reactor pressure vessel. The elevation of the openings, which are in the reactor pressure vessel, of the high-pressure core flooding apparatuses and high-pressure coolant injection apparatus are higher than that of the core spray header. A pipe for returning the cooling water in the reactor pressure vessel to the above-mentioned coolers is connected to either the portion of the interior of the reactor pressure vesssel which is below the core or the portion of the interior of the reactor pressure vessel which is between the walls of the shroud and reactor pressure vessel.
