  • Publication number: 20080295480
Abstract: A gasifying agent supply path A from an axial flow compressor 21 which boosts pressure of a gasifying agent to a gasifying furnace 2 is branched, and a gasifying agent bypass path D having an escaping pressure adjusting valve 23 is provided. The flow quantity or pressure of the gasifying agent supplied to the gasifying furnace 2 from the gasifying agent supply path A can be adjusted according to the degree of opening of the adjusting valve 23 disposed in the gasifying agent bypass path D, whereby providing a control valve in the gasifying agent supply path A is no longer necessary. Thus, pressure loss at the gasifying agent supply path A can be suppressed, and the discharge pressure of the axial flow compressor 21 can be greatly reduced.

  • Publication number: 20040213287
Abstract: A transmitter capable of retransmitting an MPEG2-TS packet up to the reconstruction time limit and a receiver capable of requesting a retransmission of the packet up to the reconstruction time limit are provided by effectively using a waiting time of a packet to be reconstructed. The transmitting apparatus is provided with a timer portion 13 that shows a current time T in a wireless transmission, a time stamp adding portion 17 that adds a time stamp for specifying a time TS(N) for the packet N to be processed at a receiver side to the packet N, and a calculation portion 14 that calculates a packet transmission required time T_P during which the packet N is transmitted from a transmitter side and then received at the receiver side. In a case where a retransmission request of the packet N from the receiver side is issued, the time limit TL for the retransmitted packet to be received in time for the processing at the receiver side is calculated by the equation of TL(N)=TS(N)−T_P.

  • Publication number: 20020148161
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a gasified fuel gasified by partial oxidation of a liquid fuel which contains water and has decreased viscosity effected by using oxygen, in which a water-decreased gasified fuel is manufactured by heating the liquid fuel to a predetermined temperature to separate into a water layer and a fuel layer, and by partially oxidizing; by using oxygen, the fuel layer obtained by liquid-liquid separation at the stage just before gasification so that gasification is carried out. The separation into a water layer and a fuel layer can be accelerated by adding an emulsion breaker to the liquid fuel or by applying an electric field.

  • Patent number: 6463087
Abstract: A semiconductor laser element is made by forming a lower clad layer, an active layer and an upper clad layer sequentially one on top of another on a semiconductor substrate, forming an etching stop layer completely over the upper clad layer, forming a contact layer on the etching stop layer, and etching portions of the contact layer to form steps. The etching stop layer has a slower etching speed than the contact layer against the etching liquid used for forming the steps by etching portions of the contact layer. An upper electrode is formed on the contact layer and a lower electrode is formed on the bottom surface of the substrate. The steps provide areas in the active layer where a current will not flow through.

  • Patent number: 6334935
Abstract: A (meth)acryloxy-bearing alkoxysilane is isolated and purified to a high purity by distilling a reaction solution containing the (meth)acryloxy-bearing alkoxysilane in a thin-layer distillation device at a temperature of 90-160° C. and a vacuum of 1-15 mmHg. The resulting alkoxysilane product does not give rise to the quality problem that the product will gradually whiten during storage owing to contact with air. The occurrence of self-polymerization of the alkoxysilane is restrained.
