  • Publication number: 20240053429
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating the sorting of assets to sort locations. In various embodiments, a sort employee scans an asset indicia using a user device, which stores asset data corresponding to the stored asset. As the sort employee nears a sort location (e.g., a delivery vehicle) with the asset and the user device, the user device automatically communicates wirelessly with a sort location receiver to associate the asset data with data indicative of the sort location where the user deposits the asset. In various embodiments, a device may determine whether the user device is proximate the appropriate sort location for the item, and may generate an alert upon a determination that the user device is proximate an incorrect sort location.

  • Publication number: 20240044901
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of prognostic of lung cancer. In this study, the inventors used extensive gene expression profiling and flow cytometry for an integrative analysis of the phenotypes of the B cells and CD4+ T cells from tumors and blood of NSCLC patients by TLS-B density. They showed that TIL B cells and TIL CD4+ T cells are more highly activated in tumors than in the periphery and that they express all the ligand/receptor pairs necessary for B/T interactions and two-way co-stimulation. Moreover, a high density of TLS-B cells is associated with higher frequencies of activated CD4+ T cells and lower frequencies of both immune checkpoint (ICP)-expressing CD4+ T cells and regulatory CD4+ T cells (Tregs) in the intratumor CD4+ T cell compartment. High densities of TLS-B cells together with low densities of FoxP3+ CD3+ Tregs in NSCLC tumors consistently identified the group of patients with the best clinical outcome.

  • Patent number: 11891898
Abstract: A rotary machine includes a stator and a rotor configured to rotate with respect to the stator. The rotor is arranged with the stator at a rotor-stator interface and defines a rotor face. Further, the rotary machine includes a seal assembly at the rotor-stator interface. The seal assembly includes at least one seal and a groove formed into the rotor at the rotor-stator interface. In addition, the seal assembly includes a removable insert positioned within the groove of the seal assembly and defining at least a portion of the rotor face. As such, during operation of the rotary machine, if the rotor and the stator make undesirable contact at the rotor-stator interface, the removable insert becomes damaged to prevent damage from occurring to the rotor and the stator.

  • Publication number: 20240038028
Abstract: The invention relates to systems and methods of revealing portions of outcomes of real-world wagers through interactive media by storing reserve wagers, receiving an indication a first token has been acquired by a user, determining a tracking wager associated with the first token, matching a stored reserve wager with the tracking wager, associating the matched reserve wager with the first token, and revealing at least a portion of the outcome of the matched reserve wager to the user by the user's interaction with the interactive media. By integrating real-world wager outcomes with user interactions, the system may provide an engaging user experience with interactive media. For example, a game may reveal an outcome of a real-world wager (which has already occurred), in response to in-game actions such as user actions in the game, other players' actions, game events, and/or other events.

  • Publication number: 20240026843
Abstract: A fuel vapor recirculation system includes a filler neck adapted to receive a refueling nozzle that dispenses fuel into the filler neck. A fuel tank receives fuel from the filler neck through an inlet check valve. The check valve is disposed in the fuel inlet opening and is normally closed. The check valve opens when fuel is dispensed into the fuel tank. The check valve defines a vent hole that is always open. The fuel tank also includes a fuel limiting vent valve and a grade limit vent valve. A fuel vapor cannister collects fuel vapor and selectively supplies fuel vapor to an intake manifold of a vehicle. The fuel vapor recirculation manifold receives fuel vapor only from the fuel limiting vent valve and the grade limit vent valve in the fuel tank and does not receive fuel vapor directly from the filler neck.
