    Abstract: Systems and methods for distributed ledger-based collateral movement are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a method for distributed ledger-based collateral movement may include: (1) receiving, at a first collateral custodian computer system for a collateral custodian and from a client of the first collateral custodian, a collateral asset for a target asset held by a client of a second collateral custodian; and (2) tokenizing the collateral asset and writing a collateral token to a distributed ledger platform. The second collateral custodian receives, from the distributed ledger platform, the collateral token and releases the target asset to the first collateral custodian in response to receiving the collateral token.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a coupler for a coupling arrangement for a rail wagon. The coupler comprising a body and a knuckle. The body has a head portion at one end for engaging with a knuckle and a butt portion at an opposing end for engaging with a yoke. The knuckle extends between a protruding portion that engages a complementary knuckle of a coupler for an adjoining rail wagon, and a tail extending along a longitudinal axis for coupling the knuckle with the head portion of the coupler. The head portion comprises an interior wall defining an interior cavity for engaging the tail of the knuckle. The coupler is configured such that in use loading induced in the coupler is transferred between the knuckle and the head portion along a substantially evenly distributed load path.

The base includes a plurality of pins spaced along and held between parallel rails. The slot beam includes a plurality of slots arranged along the beam. Each slot has a lead-in portion to receive one of the plurality of pins and a longitudinally-oriented tapered portion (e.g., parallel to the longitudinal X-axis with a taper between 1 and 5 degrees) to engage the pin so that the base is seated in the slot beam to position the airfoil against the airframe in an XY plane. A pre-load mechanism is configured to apply a force along the X-axis to press the plurality of pins into the respective tapered portions to fix the base relative to the slot beam in six degrees of freedom (6 DOF).

LED devices may include light-altering materials that are provided around peripheral sidewalls of LED chips without the need for a supporting submount or lead frame. The side layer around the peripheral sidewall of the LED chip can include an inner layer and an outer layer, each with different light altering properties. For example, the inner layer can be reflective so as to improve the light output and/or efficiency of the LED chip, while the outer layer can be absorptive so as to avoid interaction and/or crosstalk with neighboring LED chips. By having a reflective inner layer, and an absorptive outer layer, light output, sharpness, and contrast can be improved.
