    Abstract: A method for controlling an earthworking implement of an earthworking machine is disclosed. The method includes determining a first depth of cut of the earthworking implement at least partially based on a power capability of the earthworking implement. The method also includes determining a second depth of cut of the earthworking implement at least partially based on a desired grade of a work site. The method further includes moving the earthworking implement in response to at least one of the first depth of cut and the second depth of cut.

    Abstract: A device having a flow channel, wherein a layer of mesh is adhered to a surface forming a wall of a flow channel, but the layer of mesh is of such dimensions that the layer of mesh does not contact those portions of the device where electrochemical reactions occur and electrons flow. In one aspect, the invention provides a sensor, such as, for example, a biosensor, in the form of a strip, the sensor being suitable for electrochemical or optical measurement. The sensor comprises a base layer and a cover layer having a layer of mesh adhered thereto, and the base layer is separated from the cover layer by a spacer layer. The base layer, the cover layer having a layer of mesh adhered thereto, and the spacer layer define a flow channel into which a liquid sample is drawn therein and flows therethrough by means of wicking.

    Abstract: A gravity-deformable toy is formed by interlocking a plurality of flexible struts with a plurality of nodes. Each strut has a truncated sphere on at least one end thereof and each node has a plurality of spherical cavities defined therein. A truncated sphere of a strut is received in a spherical cavity to lock the strut to the node. Each of the struts has a center uniform cylinder having an outer diameter, and a diameter of the truncated sphere. The diameter of the truncated sphere is larger than the diameter of the center uniform cylinder. Each of the cavities has a circular entrance which has a diameter equal to the diameter of the central uniform cylinder and each of the cavities has a diameter equal to the diameter of the truncated sphere. When assembled, the toy is deformed by gravity when pendently supported.
