  • Publication number: 20190152122
Abstract: A plural preform assembly having nested preforms with an inner preform and an outer preform. The preforms are sealably joined together, defining a volume between the preforms. Propellant is disposed in the volume between the preforms. The preforms are later blow molded to provide a bag in bottle, bottle in bottle or similar container. The propellant charge is already present when blow molded, preventing the need for a later propellant filling step.

  • Publication number: 20190150421
Abstract: A customized fishing lure system having a lip and a body. The lip being adapted to provide resistance when said fishing lure is moved within water. The body having a keyway adapted to receive, engage and lock the lip. The lip being adapted to releasably engage with the body without the need of another structural element or hand-tool. The lip further having a stem portion and a protrusion portion being adapted to releasably engage within the keyway. The lip is not capable of being releasably disengaged from the body by merely apply a longitudinal tensile force to the lip. The lip is releasably engaged within the keyway by applying a rotational force no greater than 360 degrees. The lip being adapted to receive different weighted-inserts to achieve different depth of dive in water when being retrieved.

  • Publication number: 20190135532
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container. The aerosol dispenser, outer container and preform each have a neck, which in turn has a crimp ring, to receive a valve cup clinched thereto. The crimp ring has slots which act as vents therethrough. The vents may be exposed to pressurized propellant and product due to deformation of the neck during undue internal pressurization. The vents to relieve propellant and product therethrough in the event of overpressurization.

  • Publication number: 20190135530
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, and a valve cup for an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol dispenser, has an outer container with a crimp ring, to receive a valve cup clinched thereto. The valve cup has an outer wall with holes therethrough or vents having a vector component parallel to the outer wall. The hole or vents may be exposed to pressurized propellant and product due to deformation of the neck during undue internal pressurization. The holes and vents relieve propellant and product therethrough in the event of overpressurization.

  • Publication number: 20190135529
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container. The aerosol dispenser, outer container and preform each have a neck, which in turn has a crimp ring, to receive a valve cup clinched thereto and a lower neck potion upon which the crimp ring is mounted. The lower neck portion extends between the bottom of the crimp ring and a shoulder which transitions into the sidewalls. The crimp ring preferably has a greater axial length than the lower neck portion. This geometry allows flexibility in the thickness throughout the thickness of the entire neck. The geometry advantageously minimizes distortion of the neck in the event of overpressurization.

  • Publication number: 20190077558
Abstract: An aerosol container for an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container has an outer container. The outer container has a closed end bottom and a longitudinally opposed threaded open neck. The open neck has one or more pawls or ratchets disposed near the neck. The pawls or ratchets allow a complementary valve to be threaded onto the neck. The valve has complementary ratchets or pawls. The ratchet and pawl combination co-acts to impede or even prevent reverse rotation and subsequent removal of the valve. The outer container may be made from a preform having the ratchets and/or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process. A valve having a housing may have ratchets and or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process.

  • Publication number: 20190077584
Abstract: A threaded valve for an aerosol container. The threaded valve comprises a housing, a moving assembly disposed in the housing, threads suitable for threadable onward attachment onto a complementary neck of an outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a plurality of pawls and/or ratchets disposed on and extending from the housing. The pawls and/or ratchets allow onward rotation of the valve onto the complementary neck and impeding rotational detachment of the valve in a reverse direction.

Abstract: A preform suitable for blow molding into for an outer container usable for a pressurized aerosol dispenser. The preform has a longitudinal axis and a closed end bottom, an open neck. The neck has threads for accepting a valve having complementary threads. At least one pawl or ratchet is operatively juxtaposed with the periphery of the preform. The at least one pawl or ratchet allows onward rotation of the complementary valve in an onward direction, and prevents detachment of the valve in a reverse rotation direction. • Publication number: 20180334313
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser, outer container for an aerosol dispenser and a preform for an outer container, each having an open neck at the top and a closed end bottom longitudinally spaced therefrom. The aerosol dispenser has, in order, from the top of the neck, a valve attachment, an annular first surface and an annular second surface, each having a respective diameter. The diameter of the valve attachment is greater than the diameter of the first surface, which, in turn, is greater than the diameter of the second surface. This geometry allows any complimentary product delivery to be disposed on the second surface. Any suitable and complimentary valve may be attached to the valve attachment and sealed to the first surface. This arrangement provides flexibility and the capability to easily mix and match any desired combination of fittingly suitable outer containers, product delivery devices and valves. Suitable product delivery devices include bags, and dip tubes.
