  • Patent number: 10527183
Abstract: Pressure relief valves may be tapped into flow lines. The pressure relief valves are normally shut and are adapted to open at a threshold pressure in the flow line. The valves comprise a body which is adapted to allow the valve to be tapped into the flow line. A passage is defined in the body. The passage provides a valve inlet and a valve outlet. The inlet is in fluid communication with the flow line. A sacrificial closure is disposed in the passage and blocks flow through the passage. The closure is exposed to fluid pressure in the flow line. The valve also comprises means for compromising the sacrificial closure in response to detection of the threshold pressure in the flow line. The integrity of the closure will be compromised such that fluid from the flow line may flow through the passage and out the valve outlet.

  • Patent number: 10493335
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of iron-type golf club heads that comprise weight reducing features in the topline region of the club head that facilitate changing the Z-up location of the club head. In some exemplary embodiments, the body comprises a weight reducing feature in a topline weight reduction zone of the club head that extends over the entire face length from the par line to the toe portion ending at approximately the Z-up location of the iron type golf club head. The weight reducing feature results in a mass savings of about 2 g to about 20 g, and a Zup shift of about 0.5 mm to about 2.0 mm.

  • Patent number: 10491495
Abstract: A technician assistance application aids installation and diagnostics for an automated home monitoring system often referred to as an “Intelligent Home” system. The monitoring system includes a plurality of security sensor devices deployed around a dwelling and responsive to a monitoring application on a central computing device. The central computing device provides an on-site console for gathering signals from the security sensors and forwarding the gathered signals to a monitoring station or central office. The central office interprets the received signals to identify an anomaly or other signal consistent with a need to notify first responders or otherwise trigger an alarm. In addition to basic intrusion and fire protection, the monitoring system may monitor a variety of other non-emergency aspects such as lights, visual camera signals, door locks and environmental conditions.

  • Publication number: 20190330768
Abstract: Thermally stable absorbable fiber populations, i.e. fiber populations that do not undergo thermally induced crystallization, can be intermixed with thermally unstable fibers to yield a stabilizing effect without altering morphological properties of a fiber system. • Patent number: 10436341
Abstract: Pressure relief valves may be tapped into high-pressure flow lines. The pressure relief valve is normally shut and is adapted to open at a threshold fluid pressure. It comprises a body, a passage, a valve seat, a ball, and a linear actuator. The passage is defined in the body and has a valve inlet and a valve outlet. The valve seat is in the passage. The ball is adapted to engage the valve seat to block flow through the passage. The linear actuator is mounted for linear movement in response to detection of the threshold pressure a from a normally extended position to a retracted position. In the extended position the ball engages the valve seat to close the passage, thereby shutting the valve. In the retracted position the ball can be flushed out of the valve by fluid flowing through the passage, thereby opening the valve.

  • Publication number: 20190232123
Abstract: Iron-type golf club heads are disclosed having a heel portion, a sole portion, a toe portion, a top-line portion, a front portion, a rear portion, and a striking face. The iron-type golf club heads include a localized stiffened region that is located on the striking face of the club head such that the localized stiffened region alters the launch conditions of golf balls struck by the club head in a way that wholly or partially compensates for, overcomes, or prevents the occurrence of a rightward deviation. In particular, the localized stiffened region is located on the striking face such that a golf ball struck under typical conditions will not impart a right-tending sidespin to the golf ball.
