  • Publication number: 20190091446
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a tube management device for an infusion set that includes a holding member attachable to the patient and which defines a holding chamber for the tube. The tube may be engaged and disengaged with the device while the lube is operably connected to convey medication. The device may also allow a) the length of flexible tube controlled by the device and b) the position of the final exit of the tube from the holding member relative to the initial entry of the tube into the holding member to both be selectively adjusted. In some embodiments, tire holding chamber is defined by a plurality of channels which may be either non-intersecting or intersecting channels.

  • Publication number: 20190057683
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for performing speech recognition. In some implementations, acoustic data representing an utterance is obtained. The acoustic data corresponds to time steps in a series of time steps. One or more computers process scores indicative of the acoustic data using a recurrent neural network to generate a sequence of outputs. The sequence of outputs indicates a likely output label from among a predetermined set of output labels. The predetermined set of output labels includes output labels that respectively correspond to different linguistic units and to a placeholder label that does not represent a classification of acoustic data. The recurrent neural network is configured to use an output label indicated for a previous time step to determine an output label for the current time step. The generated sequence of outputs is processed to generate a transcription of the utterance, and the transcription of the utterance is provided.

  • Publication number: 20190010084
Abstract: Systems and methods for batch processing glass substrate webs are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of processing a glass substrate web includes applying a spacer layer to at least one of a first surface or a second surface of the glass substrate web, and rolling the spacer layer and the glass substrate web to form a spool. The spacer layer is configured such that a gap exists between the first surface and the second surface of the glass substrate web within the spool. The method further includes applying a fluid to the spool such that the fluid surrounds the spool and is disposed within the gap between the first surface and the second surface within the spool.

  • Patent number: 10171880
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for modeling the consistency of audiences viewing groups of media assets. For example, a media guidance application (e.g., executed on a server) may identify a first subset of user equipment that generated for display a first media asset (e.g., an episode of a series). The media guidance application may then identify a second subset of the first subset where the user equipment generated for display another media asset that is part of a group of media assets (e.g., another episode of the same series). Based on the number of user equipment in the second subset, the media guidance application may calculate a score for audience consistency for the group of media assets (e.g., the series) which can be used to rank the group of media assets among other groups of media assets.

  • Patent number: 10163008
Abstract: Systems and methods that provide for an interactive media guidance application implemented in a user device, e.g., an app on a mobile phone. The interactive media guidance application uses the geographical location, e.g., longitude and latitude coordinates, and geospatial orientation, e.g., gyroscopic angles, of the user device to allow the user to capture images of the location in the same manner as the location was depicted in his or her favorite film or television program. The interactive media guidance application can deliver to the user the desired immersive experience where he or she sees and has the same viewpoint as the director or another person associated with the film or television program.

  • Patent number: 10123062
Abstract: System and method are disclosed herein for excluding consumed content from a content presentation. Specifically, fingerprints for each unique media asset included in a compilation of media content consumed by a user may be obtained and stored in a user's profile. Fingerprints for each unique media asset included in another compilation of media content may be generated and compared with fingerprints stored in the user's profile to determine which of the unique media assets in the other compilation have been consumed by the user. The second compilation may be presented to the user without the unique media assets that were consumed.

  • Publication number: 20180220198
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for identifying viewers who are engaged in a media asset but unlikely to consume secondary content, and presenting, to the identified viewers, some secondary content designed to incentivize the identified viewers to consume secondary content. These systems and methods determine that a viewer is engaged in a media asset upon determining level of engagement of the viewer in the media asset is greater than a threshold value. These systems and methods determine that the viewer is unlikely to consume secondary content upon determining level of engagement of the viewer in secondary content is less than a threshold value. These systems and methods, upon determining that the viewer is engaged in the media asset but unlikely to consume secondary content, generate for display secondary content related to the media asset during breaks in the media asset.
