  • Patent number: 10990601
Abstract: In various embodiments, when a search query for certain products in an electronic catalog is received, a group of related products that are responsive to the search query may be identified. The product variants may be defined by one or more attributes. Each attribute may have one or more attribute values. The product variants may be first classified according to an attribute. One or more representative classes may be selected from the classes, for example, based on sales data (or other metric) and/or meaningful differentiation between the classes. Then a representative product variant from each class may be selected and returned as search results in response to the search query. In some embodiments, selection of the representative product variant from each class may be based on one or more factors, such as sales data, the particular customer's purchase or browsing history, cost, the search query, availability, among others.

  • Patent number: 10955275
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and devices for calibrating contrast measurements from laser speckle imaging systems to accurately determine unknown particle motion characteristics, such as flow rate. The calibration stores to memory calibration data, which may include a set of measurements from samples with known particle characteristics and/or estimates of noise, including the effects on contrast arising from undesired signals unrelated to the unknown particle motion characteristics. The calibration data may be accessed and used to correct an empirical measurement of contrast and/or interpolate a value of the unknown particle motion characteristic. The system may include a light source, photodetector, processor, and memory, which can be combined into a single device, such as a wearable device, for providing calibrated flow measurements. The device may be used, for example, to measure blood flow, cardiac output, and heart rate, and can be used to amplify the pulsatile signal.

  • Patent number: 10950024
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing pose space dimensionality. A plurality of example poses can define an input pose space. Each of the example poses can include a set of joint rotations for a virtual character. The joint rotations can be expressed with a singularity-free mathematical representation. The plurality of example poses can then be clustered into one or more clusters. A representative pose can be determined for each cluster. An output pose space with a reduced dimensionality, as compared to the input pose space, can then be provided.

Abstract: A system includes a latent exchanger and first and second fans. The latent exchanger includes first and second chambers and one or more membranes separating the first chamber from the second chamber. The one or more membranes are gas-impervious. The first fan generates a greenhouse airflow that flows from a greenhouse, into the first chamber, and then back to the greenhouse. The second fan generates an outside airflow that flows from an outside environment, into the second chamber, and then back to the outside environment. The one or more membranes are configured to permit moisture to flow through the one or more membranes from the greenhouse airflow to the outside airflow through the one or more membranes and to prevent carbon dioxide from flowing through the one or more membranes from the greenhouse airflow to the outside airflow.

  • Publication number: 20210029416
Abstract: A method receives a manifest for video requested by a client device. The manifest including links for different versions of the video for the client device to use to request segments of the different versions of the video based on conditions detected by the client device. A placeholder in the manifest is selected based on a configuration specifying the placeholder as a trigger to insert alternate content into the manifest. The method then selects a metadata payload based on the configuration specifying the placeholder and a source of the metadata payload and dynamically inserts the metadata payload into the manifest at a position based on the placeholder. The metadata payload is added with an identifier from the configuration that identifies the metadata payload to the client device. The manifest is outputted with the metadata payload for use by the client device while playing the video.
