  • Publication number: 20240266565
Abstract: Techniques of deploying fuel cells in a facility are described herein. In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a location of the receptacle at the facility that the fuel cell is connected upon detecting the fuel connector of the second side of the carrier being coupled to a fuel port at a receptacle at the facility. The method can then include generating and storing, in a database, a fuel cell record indicating that the fuel cell is physically connected to the receptacle at the identified location in the facility and instructing a control device in the facility corresponding to the identified location to provide fuel to the fuel cell via the fuel port, the fuel connector, the connection between the first side and the second side of the carrier, and the fuel inlet of the fuel cell.

  • Patent number: 12054227
Abstract: Examples of systems and methods for matching a base mesh to a target mesh for a virtual avatar or object are disclosed. The systems and methods may be configured to automatically match a base mesh of an animation rig to a target mesh, which may represent a particular pose of the virtual avatar or object. Base meshes may be obtained by manipulating an avatar or object into a particular pose, while target meshes may be obtain by scanning, photographing, or otherwise obtaining information about a person or object in the particular pose. The systems and methods may automatically match a base mesh to a target mesh using rigid transformations in regions of higher error and non-rigid deformations in regions of lower error.

  • Publication number: 20240249311
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically providing a lending offer for loyalty points based on a customer account analysis. One example method includes initiating an offer analysis for a customer account associated with a particular customer and storing an account balance and a point deficit balance. The offer analysis determines whether to provide an offer for a point loan, and is based on profile information of the customer, a current point balance, and a reward identified from the loyalty account. If an offer is to be provided, an offer for a loan of points equal to the difference between the current point balance of a loyalty account and the point value cost of the reward is transmitted to a client device of the customer. If accepted, the current point balance and the point deficit are both incremented by the amount of the offer.

  • Patent number: 12033367
Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory and processor. The memory stores document categories, text generated from an image a physical document page, and a machine learning algorithm. The machine learning algorithm is configured to extract features associated with natural language processing and features associated with the text. The machine learning algorithm is also configured to generate a feature vector that includes the first and second pluralities of features, and to generate, based on the feature vector, a set of probabilities, each of which is associated with a document category and indicates a probability that the physical document from which the text was generated belongs to that document category. The processor applies the machine learning algorithm to the text, to generate the set of probabilities, identifies a largest probability, and assigns the image to the associated document category.

  • Patent number: 12028585
Abstract: A method receives a manifest for video requested by a client device. The manifest including links for different versions of the video for the client device to use to request segments of the different versions of the video based on conditions detected by the client device. A placeholder in the manifest is selected based on a configuration specifying the placeholder as a trigger to insert alternate content into the manifest. The method then selects a metadata payload based on the configuration specifying the placeholder and a source of the metadata payload and dynamically inserts the metadata payload into the manifest at a position based on the placeholder. The metadata payload is added with an identifier from the configuration that identifies the metadata payload to the client device. The manifest is outputted with the metadata payload for use by the client device while playing the video.

  • Patent number: 12022169
Abstract: A method provides for tracking client playback events when playing an asset specified in a manifest for streaming adaptive bit rate (ABR) content. The method includes generating, with a manifest manipulator, a manifest that includes an asset URL inserted at a marker denoting a placement opportunity in a content manifest requested by a client. The manifest also includes callback URLs for tracking playback events to be returned by the client. The manifest manipulator sends the manifest to the client. At least one of the callback URLs is received by a tracking proxy associated with the manifest manipulator, indicating that the event has been performed by the client. In response, a tracking URL is obtained by the tracking proxy. The tracking URL is sent to at least one asset decision system participating in an asset decision process that resulted in providing the asset URL to the manifest manipulator.

  • Patent number: 12022210
Abstract: Techniques for detecting pulsed radiation. A CMOS sensor array being irradiated across at least a portion of the array with pulsed radiation is addressed using a rolling shutter operation. The sensor array is read to extract the integrated energy from each sensor element and convert the integrated energy into a pixel value for a pixel in a radiation image. A pulse detection operation is then applied to the radiation image to obtain a pulse repetition frequency of the pulsed radiation. The pulse detection operation includes extracting a beat signal, calculating a beat frequency and peak to trough ratio from the beat signal, and determining the pulse repetition frequency therefrom. Particularly suited to the technical field of pulsed laser detection. Also relates to a pulse detector for the same.

  • Publication number: 20240203868
Abstract: Metal lines are formed through serial DSA processes. A first DSA process may define a pattern of first hard masks. First metal lines are fabricated based on the first hard masks. A metal cut crossing one or more first metal lines may be formed. A width of the metal cut is no greater than a pitch of the first metal lines. After the metal cut is formed, a second DSA process is performed to define a pattern of second hard masks. Edges of a second hard mask may align with edges of a first metal line. An insulator may be formed around a second hard mask to form an insulative structure. An axis of the insulative structure may be aligned with an axis of a first metal line. Second metal lines are formed based on the second hard masks and have a greater height than the first metal lines.
