  • Publication number: 20080195674
Abstract: In accordance with certain embodiments, requests to collect structured data in a web page and to subscribe to that structured data are received. This structured data is stored in a data store to allow offline use of the structured data. In accordance with other embodiments, a computing device displays multiple links each of which identifies a different one of multiple web pages. Additionally, the multiple pages include structured data. The display of these multiple links is altered as the computing device detects changes to the structured data in the web pages. In accordance with other embodiments, a web page includes structured data that has been subscribed to. The computing device detects changes to the web page, and notifies a user of a change to the web page only if the change is a change to the structured data and not a change to other portions of the web page.

  • Publication number: 20080195628
Abstract: An application programming interface (API) layer is implemented on a computing device. The API layer allows a local application(s) executing on the computing device to access web data in a data store layer, and further allows a remote application(s) that is executing on some other computing device to access the web data in the data store layer. Additionally, this web data can include web pages, some of which may include structured data and some of which may not include structured data. A web browser is permitted to access the web data store via the object model, and generate a user interface based at least in part on these web pages.

  • Publication number: 20080174593
Abstract: A system of processing map images includes a Web Mapping Service (WMS) for storing map images. A WMS proxy is operative with the WMS and receives from a client a request for a map image for display at the client. A WMS proxy includes a tile broker module that converts the request for the map image into a series of requests for obtaining map tiles. A cache system that stores the map tiles. The tile broker module is operative for returning cached map tiles if they already exist within the cache and retrieving map tiles from the WMS if map tiles are not returned from the cache. A tile building module is operative for building a map image at the WMS proxy from the map tiles in a requested format and resolution and displaying the map image at the client without resampling at the client.

  • Patent number: 7395194
Abstract: A system (1) has a server (2) linked with PC clients (5), in turn connected to test equipment (10). A design-of-experiment (DOE) engine (20) generates a series of run objects (21), each defining a variation of an equipment run. The inputs to the DOE engine (20) are a selected procedure object (25) and experiment variations. The engine (20) automatically determines all task objects (26), resource objects (27), and parameter configuration objects (28) linked with the selected procedure object (25). The variations may be variations in the hierarchical links and/or different values for the parameter configurations (28). There is a run object (21) associated with each variation permutation.

  • Patent number: 7370290
Abstract: An interface for enabling a user to quickly access contact information and contact-centric tasks is displayed when an appropriate request for a contact card associated with a contact is received. The contact card displays contact information corresponding with the contact as well as contact-centric tasks that may be engaged in between the client computing system and the computing system of the contact. The list of contact-centric tasks is organized according to predetermined criteria, such as whether the contact-centric task is associated with an application that has provided contact information to the client computing system and whether the contact is a member of a group utilizing a contact-centric task. The contact card may also include an object comprising a type-in line for launching communication with the contact.

  • Publication number: 20080063948
Abstract: The present application is directed to a process of forming a photomask pattern comprising one or more sub-resolution assist features (SRAF). The process comprises generating a first set of SRAF patterns. Each of the SRAF patterns in the first set having a first assigned mask position. After the first set of SRAF patterns are generated, determining if the SRAF patterns of the first set comply with a preselected set of rules, wherein one or more of the SRAF patterns are found to be illegal because they do not comply with at least one of the preselected rules. One or more of the illegal SRAF patterns are reassigned to second mask positions that are different from the first mask positions, the second mask positions allowing the illegal SRAF patterns to comply with the at least one preselected rule to form corrected SRAF patterns.
