  • Patent number: 6985677
Abstract: The image formation apparatus has a plurality of cooling fans inside the main body of the apparatus and comprises an error detecting function of detecting occurrence of an error such as a sheet jam, and switches between operation and non-operation of the cooling fans or changes a rotation number thereof in operation according to a form of a detected error. Thus, it allows optimization of in-apparatus the temperature in the apparatus control on error occurrence and temperature control of each inside portion of the apparatus on sheet jam occurrence so as to solve various problems relating to in the apparatus temperature status on the error occurrence.

  • Publication number: 20050245683
Abstract: A polymer alloy formed by containing 40 to 90 wt % of a nitrile group-containing copolymer rubber (A) and 10 to 60 wt % of an acrylic resin (B); wherein said acrylic resin (B) contains at least 50 wt % of (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit and 1 to 27 wt % of ?,?-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit is provided, by which a polymer alloy having excellent balance of resistance to cold, ozone, gasoline penetration and fuel oil and suitable as a material for fuel hoses can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20040218944
Abstract: The invention provides an image forming apparatus including an image bearing member, a transfer member for transferring a toner image from the image bearing member, and a first contact portion and a second contact portion which can be mutually contacted for applying a voltage to the transfer member, the first contact portion having a convex portion, wherein the transfer member is pressed toward the image bearing member by a pressure exerted between the first contact portion and the second contact portion, and the convex portion has a hardness larger than that of the second contact portion. It is rendered possible to prevent an intrusion of toner or the like into the electrical contact portion, thus resulting in a contact failure.
