Abstract: A fan tray, for a fan module of a network device chassis, may include an inner assembly that includes an inner cassette, one or more fans connected to the inner cassette, a first latch connected to the inner cassette and configured to removably connect to an outer assembly of the fan tray, and a fan controller connected to the inner cassette and configured to control operation of the one or more fans. The outer assembly may be configured to receive and retain the inner assembly, and may include an outer cassette with one or more openings configured to communicate with the one or more fans, a second latch connected to the outer cassette and configured to removably connect to a rear portion of the network device chassis, and an adaptor connected to the outer cassette and configured to connect and provide power to the fan controller.

Abstract: Certain implementations of the disclosed technology may include methods and computing systems for performing high-density data compression, particularly on numerical data that demonstrates various patterns, and patterns of patters. According to an example implementation, a method is provided. The method may include extracting a data sample from a data set, compressing the data sample using a first compression filter configuration, and calculating a compression ratio associated with the first compression filter configuration. The method may also include compressing the data sample using a second compression filter configuration and calculating a compression ratio associated with the second compression filter configuration.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for recommending a content item. A search query for a content item is received. The availability of the content item from more than one source is determined. In response to determining that the content item is available from more than one source, the quality of each of the available content items from respective sources is determined. A recommendation factor is determined. The recommendation factor is based on at least one of the bandwidth available to a user device, the resolution capability of the user device, and the quality of experience of each of the sources from which the content item is available. A list of search results for the available content items is generated. The list is ordered based on the quality of each of the available content items from respective sources and the recommendation factor.

Abstract: A data storage device coupled to a controller. The controller is configured to determine whether a request to perform a data transfer operation has been received and determine whether a request to perform a garbage collection operation is necessary during the data transfer operation. The controller generates an extended logical-to-physical table (L2P) including information for the data transfer operation in response to determining the request to perform the data transfer operation has been received and the request to perform the garbage collection operation is necessary, transmits the extended L2P table to one or more peer data storage devices, and performs the garbage collection operation after transmitting the extended L2P table to the one or more peer data storage devices.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for debugging a deep neural network is provided. The present invention may include identifying, automatically, one or more debug layers associated with a deep learning (DL) model design/code, wherein the identified one or more debug layers include one or more errors, wherein a reverse operation is introduced for the identified one or more debug layers. The present invention may then include presenting, to a user, a debug output based on at least one break condition, wherein in response to determining the at least one break condition is satisfied, triggering the debug output to be presented to the user, wherein the presented debug output includes a fix for the identified one or more debug layers in the DL model design/code and at least one actionable insight.

Abstract: Systems and methods for storage operation processing during data migration using selective block migrated notifications are disclosed. A host system may be configured with connections to a source storage node and a destination storage node while a data migration is moving data blocks from the source to the destination. The host may send a storage request to the source storage node and receive a block migrated notification from the source storage node. The host may then store a migrated indicator for that data block in a migration table and direct future storage requests to the destination storage node.

Abstract: A system for assisting users in listing items for sale in an electronic marketplace is disclosed. A video is received from a user device associated with a user, the video including a video stream depicting a plurality of items to be listed for sale in the electronic marketplace. Respective images depicting respective items among the plurality of items are obtained from the video stream, and respective attributes of the respective items among the plurality of items are extracted from the video. Respective listings for sale of the respective items are generated based at least in part on the respective attributes of the respective items among the plurality of items, and the respective listings for sale of the respective items are displayed to the user.

Abstract: Techniques described herein improve viewer experience by leveraging the ability of a viewer's device to access an over-the-top (OTT) content via the device's multi-channel connections to an OTT content server. In an example embodiment, the device receives the OTT content via a first channel and performs cross-party diagnostic testing through a second channel. In this embodiment, a diagnostic app in the device compares measured signals in the first channel with a first set of threshold values and further compares acquired telemetry data in the second channel with a second set of threshold values. Based on the comparison results, the device determines the possible root cause of the interruption. Further, the device performs an in-depth diagnostic testing on a determined possible root cause (e.g., OTT content server) and sends an in-depth diagnostic report to a viewer.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing a voice input stream with interruptions and/or supplemental comments. Generally, a virtual voice assistant may receive an input stream with a first input comprising a voice query from a first voice and a second input comprising a secondary query from a second voice (e.g., an interruption or a supplement). The virtual assistant may determine that the second voice does not match the first voice, and then process the voice query to produce first results. Some embodiments may determine whether the secondary query is a supplement or an interruption and, e.g., choose to ignore an interruption or set aside a supplement if it may be used to help the search query. In some embodiments, results for the first query may be compared with results for the first query with a portion of the supplement.

Abstract: A content management system may support a card engine to dynamically perform operations such as configuring content for display via a user interface and generating reports based on user behavior, account status, and business logic. In cooperation with a facts controller to provide facts that the card engine may access substantively in real time, a rules engine to provide constructs in the form of card definitions, and a development engine, the content management system may enable a content manager to effect changes to card and container definitions by providing or modifying rules and rulesets in the rules engine dynamically. Cards evaluated dynamically by the card engine may be transmitted to user equipment. In this way, the content manager may make content decisions in accordance with business logic and events occurring proximate to the user, thereby impacting the user experience and generating reports in a substantive and real-time fashion.

Abstract: Systems and methods for failover port forwarding between peer storage nodes are described. Storage nodes may include separate data ports for host network communication and peer network communication. In the event of host port failure, host nodes may be configured to send failover storage requests to a different storage node and that storage node may forward the failover storage request through the peer ports to reach the target storage node.

Abstract: A card engine may dynamically configure content for display via user equipment (UE). A rules engine may provide constructs to the card engine in the form of card definitions, which the card engine may evaluate using facts obtained from a facts controller. The card engine may create a hierarchy of containers, which are logical abstracts for containing cards. The containers in the hierarchy, which may be organized as a tree, may contain card definitions according to respective themes determined by the card engine. Variants may be assigned weights which can be changed dynamically based on factors such as user behavior, account condition, promotions or offerings. The card having the highest weight within its container is advanced up the tree. When a card reaches the top level of the tree, it may be formatted for display via the user interface and transmitted to the UE accordingly.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for generating a playlist for a simultaneous presentation of a plurality of media assets. The system retrieves a user preference associated with a user profile and receives a selection of a first media asset and a second media asset from the plurality of media assets for presentation on a user device. The system parses the respective audio streams of the first media asset and the second media asset to identify one or more preferred audio segments based on the user preference and generates the playlist of the identified one or more preferred audio segments. Based on a generated audio playlist, the system generates, for presentation on the user device, the video stream for each of the first media asset and the second media asset and the playlist of the identified one or more preferred audio segments.

Abstract: A loop prevention system includes a plurality of networking devices that are coupled together to form a Layer Two (L2) domain and at least a portion of the plurality of networking devices are coupled together in a physical loop configuration. A networking device included in the plurality of networking devices may include at least one L2 domain connection that couples the networking device to at least one of the plurality of networking devices in the L2 domain, and an edge connection that connects the networking device to a computing device that is outside of the L2 domain. The networking device may receive a data frame via the edge connection. The networking device then generates a loop breaker data frame by tagging the data frame with a loop breaker tag and forwards the loop breaker data frame via the at least one L2 domain connection.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for temporarily granting access to a digital gateway. One example method includes receiving a request for temporary access to the digital gateway. A temporary access token is generated at a server. The temporary access token is assigned to a user. Access to the digital gateway is granted via the temporary access token. The temporary access token is automatically expired after a pre-set period. Access to the digital gateway is revoked once the temporary access token has expired.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to exemplary systems for providing control and expert services over a communication network by specialized service providers to various kinds of automation needs and methods thereof. The arrangement allows sharing of automated control system components among one or multiple users. Methods to configure and use control and automation service are also described.
