Abstract: A computer-implemented method for analyzing a roundabout in an environment for a vehicle is disclosed. The method includes generating at least one initial feature map by applying a feature encoder module of a trained neural network to an input image. The input image depicts the roundabout. The method includes next applying a classificator module of the trained neural network to the initial feature map. An output of the classificator module represents a road region on the input image. The method includes next applying a radius estimation module of the trained neural network to the initial feature map. An output of the radius estimation module depends on an inner radius of the roundabout and an outer radius of the roundabout. The method includes finally determining an entry point and an exit point of the roundabout depending on the output of the classificator module and depending on the output of the radius estimation module.

  • Publication number: 20240314138
Abstract: Techniques for determining whether to send an MFA push notification are described. An indication of a request for a user account to access the application service via an endpoint device is received at an MFA service from an application service. A first geolocation of the endpoint device and a second geolocation of an MFA-registered device associated with the user account are received at the MFA service. Using the first and second geolocation, determine whether the endpoint device and the MFA-registered device are within a threshold proximity. When the endpoint device and the MFA-registered device are within the threshold proximity, allows a push notification to be transmitted to the MFA-registered device requesting authentication to grant access to the user account by the endpoint device, and when the endpoint device and the MFA-registered device are not within the threshold, refrain from transmitting the push notification.

  • Patent number: 12063415
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to selectively stream content based on parental control ratings. A particular frame of a live broadcast of a media asset that is to be transmitted to a first device is identified, and it is determined whether the particular frame of the media asset depicts content associated with a parental control rating. In response to such determination, the particular frame and metadata associated with the particular frame that indicates that the particular frame depicts content associated with the parental control rating may be transmitted to the first device, where the transmittal of the metadata causes the first device to perform an action related to display of the particular frame based on comparing the parental control rating with a local parental control setting.

  • Publication number: 20240250901
Abstract: Current data center deployments, particularly layer 2 (L2) deployments that use multi-chassis link aggregation group (MC-LAG) implementations, have limitations. Such deployments use a link, known as an inter-node link (INL)/inter-chassis link (ICL), to connect peer information handling system nodes. Because the peer nodes are coupled together via one or more INL connections, there are fewer ports available for each peer node to connect to end nodes. This configuration creates limitations to bandwidth and scaling, and also increase costs. Embodiments herein allow for the elimination of INLs by moving forwarding decisions to the spine node level. In one or more embodiments, a spine node determines ports to reach dual-homed, single-homed, and orphaned node that are connected to leaf node(s) based on information learned from the leaf nodes. For a leaf node, a sub-LAG (link aggregation group) may be created to reach single-homed/orphaned nodes connected to the leaf node.

  • Publication number: 20240231463
Abstract: The technology described herein is directed towards intelligently controlling the power consumed by light emitting diodes (LEDs) of network devices, such as present in a datacenter. An internal device agent, application and/or centralized monitoring system can determine when to activate and deactivate LEDs, such as to activate when a group of devices is likely being observed, and deactivate otherwise. Devices can be grouped for collective control, such as a group per rack of network devices with their LEDs activated and deactivated together. Sensors, such as rack cabinet door sensors, motion sensors and so on can be used to detect whether a group of devices is likely being observed; an action such as closing the door or walking away can be sensed to deactivate the LEDs. After LED activation, expiration of a configurable timer can be used to deactivate the LEDs. Significant power savings are thus achievable in various network scenarios.

  • Patent number: 12035017
Abstract: Systems and methods for a computer-based process that determines content display preferences of nearby detected devices, and transmits content tracks to those devices according to their individual preferences. For example, language preferences are determined from nearby devices, and content is played with corresponding language tracks sent to each device. In this manner, different tracks of content may be sent to different devices according to each device's preferences, so that individualized or personalized versions of content may be played for each different device. Thus, for instance, content may be played with different language tracks, where each track is selected to conform to the preferences of each different device. Accordingly, content may be played with different users or viewers experiencing the content in their preferred language. Embodiments of the disclosure also contemplate any other settings and preferences besides language.
