Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for factchecking artificial intelligence models using blockchain are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes obtaining at least one artificial intelligence model and at least one set of data related to the at least one artificial intelligence model; determining a set of characteristics based at least in part on the at least one artificial intelligence model and the at least one set of data; selecting one of a plurality of networks based at least in part on a target deployment of the at least one artificial intelligence model to verify the set of characteristics; generating a report based at least in part on verifying the set of characteristics using the selected network, wherein the report establishes a threshold level of trust for the at least one artificial intelligence model; and storing the report on a blockchain.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for adaptively controlling the output volume level of audio content being played in a media presentation environment based on a change in the number of users in the media presentation environment. In response to detecting a change in the number of users, a stored output volume adjustment value corresponding to the detected change is retrieved and used to automatically adjust the output volume level of the audio content. In response to receiving a volume change request from a user within a predetermined time after the automatic adjustment of the output volume, the output volume level is adjusted to the user requested value and the stored output volume adjustment value is adjusted based on a difference between the automatically adjusted output volume level and the user-adjusted output volume level.

Abstract: Systems and methods for capped allocation of storage resources based on connection type are described. A new storage connection request from a host system to a group of data storage devices includes a connection type, such as a remote direct memory access connection or transmission control protocol connection. Based on the connection type, a subset of a pool of allocated storage resources for that connection type is determined. If the new connection request does not exceed the maximum number of connections allocated to the subset, a new storage connection is established. If the new connection request exceeds the maximum number of connections allocated to the subset, the new storage connection request fails.

Abstract: Systems and methods for failover port forwarding between peer storage nodes are described. Storage nodes may include separate data ports for host network communication and peer network communication. In the event of host port failure, host nodes may be configured to send failover storage requests to a different storage node and that storage node may forward the failover storage request through the peer ports to reach the target storage node.

Abstract: A gain control system for controlling gain applied to an audio signal includes a power estimator configured to estimate the power of a digital signal derived from the audio signal, a digital gain estimator configured to determine, in dependence on the estimated power, a digital gain which would modify the power of the digital signal so as to reach a target power level, and a gain controller configured to adjust an analogue gain applied to the audio signal in dependence on the determined digital gain.

Abstract: A method of transmitting data determines a measure of consecutive packet loss in a network; a ratio of a number of data packets and a number of error correction packets is selected in dependence on the measure. A stream of data packets is generated, and a stream of error correction packets is generated in dependence on the stream of data packets such that the proportion of error correction packets generated to the data packets generated is commensurate with the selected ratio.

In response to confirmation of the request by a policy engine, the network device can determine a reply message comprising a cryptographically-signed second configuration record that includes a second device identifier. The terminal can verify that the signature is valid and that the second device identifier matches the device identifier. In response, the terminal can modify data in the datastore according to the second configuration record. The configuration record can lock or unlock the terminal, or determine permitted services or network peers.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein to dynamically update content restrictions for multiple users by detecting a first user in the proximity of a media device playing a first content item and detecting a second user entering the proximity of the media device. In response to detecting a second user entering the proximity of the media device and receiving a command from the first user that controls playing the first content, the system modifies a stored relationship between the first user and the second user to track the relationship between the first user and the second user. Thereafter, when the system detects the first user and the second user in the proximity of a media device playing a second content, in response, the system automatically performs an action that controls the playing of the second content (e.g., without user having to issue those commands).

A list of search results for the available content items is generated. The list is ordered based on the quality of each of the available content items from respective sources and the recommendation factor.

A computer-implemented method includes determining differences between a first version of a dependency used by a software application and each of a plurality of upgrade candidates, the plurality of upgrade candidates comprising at least one of: (i) one or more newer versions of the dependency and (ii) a substitute dependency; identifying, based on the determined differences for a given one of the upgrade candidates, one or more sections of code of the software application that need to be patched in order to be compatible with the given upgrade candidate; and generating a modified version of the software application for the given upgrade candidate that comprises one or more patches for at least a portion of the identified one or more sections of code.

The computing device is configured to execute a deep learning algorithm that detects an event indicative that a person is in distress in the body of water. Characteristically, the computing device is further configured to send a trigger to the alarm system to provide an audio alarm upon the detection of such an event.

The reboot of the management system includes a read of a second block at the offset within the backup firmware image.
