Abstract: An apparatus for generating a device address of a wireless local network includes an alien beacon determination unit which determines whether a received beacon is an alien beacon; a zone identity management unit which compares an alien zone identity included in the received beacon with a zone identity of a corresponding device if the received beacon is the alien beacon, and regenerates the zone identity of the corresponding device if the alien zone identity is identical to the zone identity of the corresponding device; and a device address generation unit which regenerates a device address of the corresponding device if a device address of an alien beacon group is identical to the device address of the corresponding device.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dispenser of an icemaker in a refrigerator for maximizing an inner space when a total size is the same, and for minimizing the total size when the inner space is the same. The dispenser of the icemaker in the refrigerator includes an ice chute being a passage through which the ice produced from the icemaker is discharged; and a container supporter provided at an outer case and disposed to be perpendicular to an outer surface of the outer case when the ice is discharged outside through the ice chute, the contain supporter allowing a container seated thereon to receive the ice discharged from the ice chute. The ice chute is closed and not exposed outside when the ice-discharging process is finished, and the container supporter is not exposed to the outer surface of the outer case.

An apparatus for receiving data in a wireless local network includes: a congestion determiner which determines whether there is a congestion in a buffer storing received data if the data is received via a prioritized contention access (PCA) period; and a congestion information transmitter which transmits, in the PCA period or a beacon period (BP), congestion generation information in a medium access control (MAC) frame or a beacon frame if there is the congestion in the buffer.

Abstract: An icemaker for an ice supply system for preventing water from overflowing from the ice tray by vibration and/or shaking of the surrounding structure includes an icemaker, a container provided at a lower part of the icemaker and an ice chute for supplying the ice stored in the ice container. An ejector in the ice tray of the icemaker and a dropper device having an inclined upper surface at a side of the open top of the ice tray are provided for dropping the ice discharged upwardly by the ejector. The dropper has no gap or slot through which the ejector passes to prevent water overflow through the dropper. An overflow prevention device is provided at another side of the open top of the ice tray for preventing water filled in the ice tray from overflowing.

Also, the present invention provides a cooling air passage structure of a refrigerator for properly supplying cooling air for freezing to an inside of the refrigerator having an ice machine disposed on an inner surface of a chilling chamber door.

Abstract: Disclosed are a full ice level sensing apparatus and method in which a full ice level of ice cubes in an ice bank is sensed by means of upward and downward movements of an elevating member, thereby minimizing an operational area of the elevating member required to sense the full ice level and increasing an effective volume of a freezing chamber. The full ice level sensing apparatus includes an elevating member disposed so as to rectilinearly move up and down into the ice bank, elevating means for rectilinearly moving the elevating member upward and downward, and sensing means for sensing whether or not the ice bank is at the full ice level based on the position of the elevating member.

Abstract: An ice bank of an ice-making device for a refrigerator is disclosed, for smooth crush and discharge of ice, which includes a housing for storing ice made in an icemaker, and provided rotatably to apply the power to the stored ice at a rotation direction; an ice discharger having at least one hole through which the ice is discharge to the external; a crusher provided in the inside of the housing, the crusher guiding the stored ice to the hole of the ice discharge and crushing the ice as a predetermined size before discharging the ice to the hole according to a user's select; and rotating means for rotating the housing. Also, the crusher includes fixed crushing means fixed to the inside of the housing, and rotation crushing means rotated for being synchronized with the housing so as to crush the ice before discharging the ice to the external according to a user's select.

Abstract: A device and method for adaptively controlling a turn-on time of a transceiver so that power consumption is reduced. The device includes a transceiver for receiving a beacon frame broadcasted by a coordinator which coordinates devices, and a controller for determining whether a period of the beacon frame is changed by checking period information in the received beacon frame. The device further includes a beacon frame arrival-time estimation part for estimating an arrival-time of a next beacon frame to be received, based on the changed period information of the beacon frame, a time-error estimation part for estimating a time-errors of the coordinator and the device based on the changed period information of the beacon frame, and a turn-on time estimation part for estimating a turn-on time of a transceiver based on the estimated beacon frame arrival-time and the estimated time-errors.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of assigning an address to a mobile node in a tree-structure wireless network, the method including sending a registration request to a management node by a mobile node when the mobile node joins with the wireless network, allocating a static address for the mobile node by the management node responding to the registration request, sending the allocated static address to the mobile node, and setting the static address received from the management node as its own static address by the mobile node. In accordance with the present invention, even if a mobile node moves and its dynamic address is changed, all nodes in the middle of the moved mobile node are not disconnected in communication.

Abstract: A coordinator's data transmission method, a device's data reception method, a coordinator using the coordinator's data transmission method and a device using the device's data reception method are provided. In a Zigbee system including at least one device and a coordinator for coordinating the device, in a case where a frame pending bit in a beacon frame is determined to be a value representing a direct transmission method, a beacon frame containing an address of a device to receive data and a data transmission time is generated and data is transmitted from the coordinator at the data transmission time. Data transmission time and power consumption can be reduced.

Abstract: A beacon scheduling method and system in a network system. The beacon scheduling method of a router in a network system that includes at least one router, includes receiving a beacon signal from a parent node; calculating a difference between an address of the parent node and an address of the router; and setting the calculated difference to a beacon transmission offset of the router. Accordingly, all devices from the top to the bottom of the network can transmit their beacons without collisions, and thus the multi-hop tree structure can be established.

Accordingly, as the basket is lifted when being drawn out, a user can take out food items kept in the basket without bending his/her back, which enhances user's convenience.

The apparatus comprises: a body having an upper cooling chamber and a lower cooling chamber having an opened front surface and separated from each other; an upper door for opening and closing the opened front surface of the upper cooling chamber; a lower door for opening and closing the opened front surface of the lower cooling chamber by being slid in a back and forth direction of the body; a lower container formed at a rear surface of the lower door to be movable in an up and down direction of the body and integrally slid with the lower door; a plurality of upper containers slidable in a back and forth direction of the body and formed at the rear surface of the lower door and at an upper portion of the lower container; and a control means for controlling the lower container to be lifted or lowered.
