  • Patent number: 9418142
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for detecting communities in a weighted graph. The community detection module includes a tagset data aggregator, a counts statistics engine, a weighted graph generator, a coherence engine, a community detector and a tag recommendation engine. The tagset data aggregator receives tagset data. The counts statistics engine determines counts statistics for the tagset data. The weighted graph generator generates and denoises weighted tag occurrence graph based on the counts statistics. The coherence engine determines importance score for all tags and coherence score for all tagsets in the tagset data. The community detector determines maximally coherent communities in the weighted tag co-occurrence graph. The tag recommendation engine recommends tags in real time using the maximally coherent communities.

  • Patent number: 9418873
Abstract: A semiconductor device has an on-die decoupling capacitor that is shared between alternative high-speed interfaces. A capacitance pad is connected to the decoupling capacitor and internal connection pads are connected respectively to the alternative interfaces. Internal connection bond wires connect the decoupling capacitor to the selected interface through the capacitance pad and the internal connection pads in the same process as connecting the die to external electrical contacts of the device.

  • Publication number: 20160233183
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) die has side input/output (IO) pads located along each side of the die interior. Each die corner has a corner IO pad. The side IO pads adjacent to the corner IO pads have shortened passivation regions in the top metal layer (TML) that define TML access regions. TML traces run through the TML access regions to connect the corner IO pads to the die interior. Providing corner IO pads enables an IC die to have up to four more IO pads than a comparable conventional IC die that does not have any corner IO pads, or an IC die to have the same number of IO pads within a smaller overall footprint.

  • Publication number: 20160163671
Abstract: A surface-mounted integrated circuit package containing a semiconductor die has at least two conductive plates on its lower surface for contacting power and ground areas of a printed circuit board (PCB). The conductive plates are electrically connected to metal studs encapsulated within the package and which link the plates to the power and ground grids of the semiconductor die. Power and ground can thus be provided to the package with conductive patterns on the PCB that match with the plates. The resistance of the plates is low and hence the IR drop across the die is low. By supplying power directly to the package via the plates, the peripheral package pins that would otherwise have been allocated for power (and ground) are now freed up for signal assignment.

  • Patent number: 9337140
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a semiconductor die having opposing first and second main surfaces, contact pads and a metal ring accessible from the first main surface, and signal leads surrounding and spaced from the die. Each of the signal leads has a first end near the die, a second end remote from the die, and a body extending between the first and second ends. A dummy lead frame is disposed between the signal leads first ends and the die, and connected to a fixed potential. First bond wires are coupled to respective ones of the signal leads and the contact pads. Second, shield bond wires, located adjacent to respective ones of the bond wires, are coupled to the dummy lead frame and the metal ring.

  • Publication number: 20160098252
Abstract: A software development method entails providing an application development environment on a mobile device connected to a computing device such as a desktop or laptop computer that provides a browser acting as a code editor for writing code. The code input via a keyboard of the computing device is transferred to the mobile device and compiled by the application development environment. If the code is unsuitable for local compiling, the code is transmitted to a code-compiling server. Within the application development environment, recognizable gestures may be used for fast coding. In other words, the mobile device may be programmed to recognize a gesture, to determine code corresponding to the gesture and to cause the mobile device to display the code corresponding to the gesture. For example, a swipe gesture may be used to insert a particular character not found on a hard or virtual keyboard of the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 9268844
Abstract: In an automatic electronic discovery search tool, documents can be clustered into a cluster hierarchy using data contained in a first field of the documents. One of more levels of the cluster hierarchy are merged. Merged clusters are further clustered using data contained in a second field of the documents. The first field and second field may be determined by the signal-to-noise ratio of the data contained in the fields. Clusters may be filtered or used in a document review tool.

  • Publication number: 20150364439
Abstract: A semiconductor device uses insulated bond wires to connect peripheral power supply and ground bond pads on the periphery of the device to array power supply and ground bond pads located on an interior region of a integrated circuit die of the device. Power supply and ground voltages are conveyed from array bond pads using vertical vias down to one or more corresponding inner power distribution layers. The bond wire connections form rows and columns of hops constituting a mesh power grid that reduces the IR drop of the semiconductor device.

  • Publication number: 20150199500
Abstract: Different types of soft-lockout policies can be associated with different organizations (or groups) in an identity management system. Each soft-lockout policy can indicate different parameters such as a number of login attempts allowed and an amount of time that a user account will be locked-out if the maximum allowed attempts are exceeded unsuccessfully. Users can be associated with the different organizations. For each user, the soft-lockout policies for the organization with which that user is associated are applied to that user when that user attempts to log in. Thus, different groups of users can be handled with different security behaviors regarding unsuccessful login attempts. If, for example, a user were to become moved from one organization to another, then the soft-lockout policies associated with the user's new organization would become applicable to that user.
