    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provides a training mechanism that transfers the knowledge from a trained BERT model into a much smaller model to approximate the behavior of BERT. Specifically, the BERT model may be treated as a teacher model, and a much smaller student model may be trained using the same inputs to the teacher model and the output from the teacher model. In this way, the student model can be trained within a much shorter time than the BERT teacher model, but with comparable performance with BERT.

    Abstract: A power down signal generator generates a power down signal. The power down signal generator includes a detection transistor, a resistor coupled in series with the detection transistor, and a compensation transistor coupled in parallel to the resistor. The detection transistor receives a first supply voltage in a first voltage domain and a current. A control voltage is generated across the resistor based on a first part of the current. The compensation transistor receives a bias voltage derived from a second supply voltage in a second voltage domain and sinks, based on the bias voltage, a second part of the current to maintain the control voltage within a predefined range. The generation of the power down signal is controlled based on the first supply voltage and the control voltage.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for switching between batch processing and real-time processing of time series data, with a system being configured to switch between a batch processing module and a real-time processing module to process time series data. The system includes an orchestration service to indicate when to switch, which may be based on a switching event identified by the orchestration service. In some implementations, the orchestration service identifies a switching event in incoming time series data to be processed. When a batch processing module is to be used to batch process time series data, the real-time processing module may be disabled, with the real-time processing module being enabled when it is used to process the time series data. In some implementations, the real-time processing module includes the same processing models as the batch processing module such that the two modules' outputs have a similar accuracy.

    Abstract: A machine-learning model (MLM) is trained to identify a given item identifier for an item and shelf dimensions of an empty space associated with the item from training images of a shelf. After training, real-time images of the shelf are provided as input to the MLM and the output provided by the MLM includes empty space identifiers, dimensions or pixel coordinates for each empty space identifier, and an item identifier for each empty space identifier. A quantity of each item identifier is determined based on known shelf dimensions that the corresponding item should occupy on a fully stocked shelf and based on the corresponding empty space dimensions for the empty space associated with the item. A real-time report is sent to store personnel and/or published on a website monitored by the store personnel. The report identifies the items, the shelves, and restocking item quantities that need restocked in the store.

The generated hydrogen radicals remove residual germanium from the one or more silicon nanosheets.
