  • Patent number: 11860864
Abstract: Embodiments may facilitate data analytics for a cloud computing environment. A plurality of system tables may store system metadata that associates a first materialized view with a first view and a first table. A transaction compute unit may process an update request relevant to the first view. A query parser may capture the update request from the transaction compute unit and detect which system tables are associated with the update request relevant to the first view. Responsive to the request, the query processor arranges for first table data to be replicated and transmit a materialized view request to a materialized view compute unit. The materialized view compute unit may be created as a Materialized View-as-a-Service (“MVaaS”) independent of the transaction compute unit. The materialized view compute unit may receive the materialized view request, refresh the first materialized view, compute the first materialized view, and store a result of the computation.

  • Patent number: 11861606
Abstract: Blockchain-based, smart contract platforms have great promise to remove trust and add transparency to distributed applications. However, this benefit often comes at the cost of greatly reduced privacy. Techniques for implementing a privacy-preserving smart contract is described. The system can keep accounts private while not losing functionality and with only a limited performance overhead. This is achieved by building a confidential and anonymous token on top of a cryptocurrency. Multiple complex applications can also be built using the smart contract system.

  • Patent number: 11861395
Abstract: A method for managing memory for applications in a computing system includes receiving a selection of a preferred application. During user-controlled operation over the application, the transitions of selected application between foreground and background are monitored. A retention of the application in memory is triggered upon a transition of the application to background during the user operation. Retention of the application includes compressing memory portions of the application. Accordingly, the application is retained within the memory based on said compressed memory portions. A requirement to restore the retained application is sensed based on either a user selection or an automatically generated prediction and the application is restored from the retained state back to the foreground.

  • Publication number: 20230414786
Abstract: The present methods use gene therapy to confer inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression solely in the tumor space, using focused ultrasound targeting. NOS catalyzes the reaction that generates nitric oxide (NO), a potent endogenous vasodilator. Microbubble-mediated non-viral delivery overcomes major barriers associated with non-viral NO gene therapy. The methods increase tumor perfusion and compound the efficacy of a vast array of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immune-based treatments.

  • Publication number: 20230409489
Abstract: A processor includes a time counter and issuing instruction and executing instruction at a future time which is based on the time counter. The execution times are based on fixed latency times of instructions with exception of the load instruction which is based on the data cache hit latency time. A data cache miss causes the load instruction to fetch data from the level 2 cache wherein a time tracker unit adjusts the level 2 cache latency time based on a counter.

  • Publication number: 20230410176
Abstract: A method including tracking a dynamic source ranking for a content provider separately by item categories of items of a content catalog. The method also can include receiving a new value to be associated with an attribute in an attribute-value pair for an item of the items. The new value can be provided by the content provider. The method additionally can include generating a priority score for the new value based on input features comprising the dynamic source ranking for the content provider for an item category of the item categories in which the item is classified, a confidence score for the new value, and an offer status of the new value. A first weighting associated with the dynamic source ranking and a second weighting associated with the confidence score are each greater than a third weighting associated with the offer status.

  • Publication number: 20230388128
Abstract: Techniques of authenticating a first device of a user to a second device are disclosed. The method enables the second device to perform authentication using a biometric template stored on the first device and a biometric measurement. Homomorphic encryption may be used by the first device to encrypt the biometric template and the second device to determine an encrypted similarity metric between the biometric template and the biometric measurement. The second device can also determine an encrypted code using an authentication function and the encrypted similarity metric. The second device sends the encrypted code and the encrypted similarity metric to be decrypted by the first device. The second device can receive a response from the first device, indicating whether a decrypted similarity metric exceeds a threshold; and whether the decrypted code matches a test code. The second device can then authenticate the user based on the response.

  • Patent number: 11828235
Abstract: An epicyclic gearbox is configured to transfer rotational motion between a first rotating component and a second rotating component of the gas turbine engine. The gearbox includes a centrally located sun gear, two or more planet gears circumscribing the sun gear, and a ring gear circumscribing the plurality of planet gears. The gearbox is configured such that the sun gear is drivingly coupled to the first rotating component, such that rotation of the sun gear causes rotation of each planet gear, and such that the ring gear rotates relative to the plurality of planet gears. The gearbox includes one or more shape memory alloy dampers provided in association with the sun gear, the ring gear, and/or the plurality of planet gears. The shape memory alloy damper(s) is configured in order to reduce vibrations transferred through the epicyclic gearbox to the frame, the first rotating component, and/or the second rotating component.

  • Patent number: 11829575
Abstract: Techniques for generating a workflow model are described. In an example, a device presents a window. A selection of an icon presented in the window is received, where the icon corresponds to a node having a node type. Based on rule, the device determines a location where the icon can be added to a workflow. The rule indicates the location based on the node type and a workflow model. The user device presents, in the window, an indicator of the location, receives a placement of the node at the location, and presents, the icon at the location indicating that the node is added to the workflow. The device updates the workflow model to include, based on the placement, a reference to executable code that corresponds to the node, and to include, based on the location, information about an execution sequence of executable codes referenced in the workflow model.
