  • Patent number: 11882321
Abstract: A media client ascertains a plurality of matching points between (i) query fingerprints representing a media stream being received by the client and (ii) reference fingerprints, each identified matching point defining a respective match between a query fingerprint that is timestamped with client time defined according to a clock of the client and a reference fingerprint that is timestamped with true time defined according to a timeline within a known media stream. Further, the client performs linear regression based on the timestamps of the ascertained plurality of matching points, to establish a mapping between true time and client time. The client then uses the established mapping as a basis to determine a client-time point at which the client should perform an action with respect to media stream being received by the client. And the client performs the action at the determined client-time point.

  • Patent number: 11880659
Abstract: Methods and systems for hierarchical natural language understanding are described. A representation of an utterance is inputted to a first machine learning model to obtain information on the first utterance. According to the information on the utterance a determination that the representation of the utterance is to be inputted to a second machine learning model that performs a dedicated natural language task is performed. In response to determining that the representation of the utterance is to be inputted to a second machine learning model, the utterance is inputted to the second machine learning model to obtain an output of the dedicated natural language task.

  • Publication number: 20240020300
Abstract: Embodiments may facilitate data analytics for a cloud computing environment. A plurality of system tables may store system metadata that associates a first materialized view with a first view and a first table. A transaction compute unit may process an update request relevant to the first view. A query parser may capture the update request from the transaction compute unit and detect which system tables are associated with the update request relevant to the first view. Responsive to the request, the query processor arranges for first table data to be replicated and transmit a materialized view request to a materialized view compute unit. The materialized view compute unit may be created as a Materialized View-as-a-Service (“MVaaS”) independent of the transaction compute unit. The materialized view compute unit may receive the materialized view request, refresh the first materialized view, compute the first materialized view, and store a result of the computation.

  • Patent number: 11873485
Abstract: Programmable guide RNAs (gRNAs) play a central role in the CRISPR revolution sweeping biology and medicine by directing the function of a Cas protein effector to a target gene of choice. To achieve programmable control over regulatory scope, the activity of a conditional guide RNA (cgRNA) depends on the presence or absence of an RNA trigger, allowing for cell-selective regulation of CRISPR/Cas function. Unlike a standard gRNA, a cgRNA is programmable at multiple levels, with the target-binding sequence controlling the target of Cas activity (edit, silence, induce, or bind a gene of choice) and the trigger binding sequence controlling the scope of Cas activity. cgRNA mechanisms that are allosteric allow for independent design of the target and trigger sequences, providing the flexibility to select the regulatory target and scope independently.

  • Publication number: 20240009436
Abstract: In a method for enhancing localized delivery of a diagnostic or therapeutic agent using focused ultrasound (FUS), ultrasound-controllable drug carriers are administered into a blood vessel. Each drug carrier comprises an ultrasound-sensitive microbubble loaded with the diagnostic or therapeutic agent. The drug carriers are aggregated inside the vessel both along a radial direction and a longitudinal direction by application of an aggregation FUS sequence. Subsequently the diagnostic or therapeutic agent is released from the drug carriers by application of an uncaging FUS sequence. The aggregation and uncaging sequences are applied using FUS below a threshold power level such that harmful cavitation is avoided, as evidenced by the absence of broadband emissions and preferably non-integer harmonics from an emission spectrum of the drug carriers. Thereby damage to the vasculature by the FUS sequence is avoided.

  • Patent number: 11865876
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method and system for real time prediction of tire remaining useful life using a tire digital twin. Herein, the digital twin of the tire monitors a plurality of tires while accounting for runtime as well as parking operation of tires. During runtime, tire goes through multiple operational changes, therefore, the system is configured to estimate the operational changes. The estimation is done in the form of index, which is compared with the manufacturers' recommended value. Similarly, while vehicle is parked, tire still goes through changes which play an important role in its overall health, like, long pending wheel rotation can lead to flat spot. Tire inflation can change owing to cool down effect as well as uncontrolled natural leakages. Further, these parameter indexes are clubbed together to calculate the health index of the tire, which is used to estimate the tire's current remaining useful life.

  • Patent number: 11869261
Abstract: Audio distortion compensation methods to improve accuracy and efficiency of audio content identification are described. The method is also applicable to speech recognition. Methods to detect the interference from speakers and sources, and distortion to audio from environment and devices, are discussed. Additional methods to detect distortion to the content after performing search and correlation are illustrated. The causes of actual distortion at each client are measured and registered and learnt to generate rules for determining likely distortion and interference sources. The learnt rules are applied at the client, and likely distortions that are detected are compensated or heavily distorted sections are ignored at audio level or signature and feature level based on compute resources available. Further methods to subtract the likely distortions in the query at both audio level and after processing at signature and feature level are described.

  • Patent number: 11863375
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses can detect whether an impairment is present within a service provider network. The impairment can cause a service provided by the service provider network to not perform as expected. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can develop multiple network records to record the performance of the service provider network at various instances in time. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can compare these network records among each other to detect for the presence of the impairment within the service provider network. These systems, methods, and apparatuses can thereafter diagnose and/or remedy the impairment when present within the service provider network.
