  • Publication number: 20180059381
Abstract: A camera module includes an optical package, a camera actuator for moving the optical package, a camera subassembly, and one or more resilient members arranged within the camera subassembly to prevent, reduce, or cushion contact between the optical package and other components of the camera. The resilient members may be mounted on the lens carrier of the optical package and configured to come into resistive contact with components of the camera subassembly and/or mounted on components of the camera subassembly and configured to come into resistive contact with the optical package. In either case, the resistive cushioning provided by the resilient members may reduce or prevent contact (and an associated rattling noise associated with the contact) between the optical package and the hard components of the camera subassembly. The resilient members may be configured to cushion, but also allow hard stop contact. In embodiments bumpers (e.g., elastomeric pads) may be used.

  • Publication number: 20180041460
Abstract: A system and method for aggregating user response data in a communication system such as an instant messaging (IM system). Aggregation is performed according to a hierarchical group addressing structure into which users are arranged. Data may be input, output and distributed in a structured data format. Aggregating information comprises collating, in each group in the hierarchical group addressing structure, information contained in responses from individual users in that group. Aggregating said information may further comprise collating, for each group in the hierarchical group addressing structure, information contained in responses from all child groups subordinate to that group. Because the grouping structure for addressing or routing is pre-existing, no additional grouping or categorising of individuals or responses is required.

  • Patent number: 9882051
Abstract: Fin Field Effect transistors (FETs) (FinFETs) employing dielectric material layers to apply stress to channel regions are disclosed. In one aspect, a FinFET is provided that includes a substrate and a Fin disposed over the substrate. The Fin includes a source, a drain, and a channel region between the source and drain. A gate is disposed around the channel region. To apply stress to the channel region, a first dielectric material layer is disposed over the substrate and adjacent to one side of the Fin. A second dielectric material layer is disposed over the substrate and adjacent to another side of the Fin. The dielectric material layers apply stress along the Fin, including the channel region. The level of stress applied by the dielectric material layers is not dependent on the volume of each layer.

  • Patent number: 9870347
Abstract: Conversion of a network site from a particular network site development platform to a different network site development platform may be facilitated by a network site conversion service. The merchant may provide the network site conversion service with a uniform resource locator that references a home document of the network site. The network site conversion service may traverse the source network site to determine the source network site's internal structure. The collected data may be analyzed. For example, aspects of the source network site may be mapped to components of the destination network site development platform. A converted network site may be generated based on the analysis. For example, the aspects of the source network site having mappings to the components of the destination network site development platform may be implemented with those components in the converted network site. The converted network site may then be published.
