  • Publication number: 20230082733
Abstract: The present disclosure provides elastomer blends comprising mixtures of partially fluorinated elastomers, such as tetrafluoroethylene propylene elastomers (FEPM or TFEP) and fluorocarbon rubbers, such as vinylidene fluoride-based elastomers (FKM or FEP). The elastomer blends can be prepared using two-roll mills, internal mixers, or other mixing technique and can be molded into seals, gaskets, o-rings or other articles using extrusion, injection molding, compression molding or the like. The resultant elastomeric articles can provide good sealing performance, including at moderate or low temperatures, and exhibit good chemical compatibility and resistance when exposed to common wellbore environments. In some cases, the elastomer blends can provide performance characteristics previously only available from perfluorinated elastomers (FFKM), but without requiring the complex processing conditions associated with preparing perfluorinated elastomers.

  • Publication number: 20230076559
Abstract: An explainable artificial intelligence based decisioning management method and system for processing financial transaction is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request for performing a financial transaction from applicant and from data sources. The method further includes performing a data sufficiency check using one or more neural network on the request by validating the request of the applicant with one or more external data sources. Further, the method includes generating a decision for the received request using neural network model if the data sufficiency check is successful. Additionally, the method includes validating the decision by reverse calculating, through the neural layers of the neural network model, an importance weightage distribution across each of the neural nodes. Also, the method includes generating a case assessment report for the generated decision based on the validation.

  • Patent number: 11586594
Abstract: Presented herein are methods of replicating versioned and hierarchical data structures, as well as data structures representing complex transactions. Due to interdependencies between data entities and a lack of guaranteed message ordering, simple replication methods employed for simple data types cannot be used. Operations on data structures exhibit dependencies between the messages making up the operations. This strategy can be extended to various types of complex transactions by considering certain messages to depend on other messages or on the existence of other entries at the data store. Regardless of origin, these dependencies can be enforced by suspending the processing of messages with unsatisfied dependencies until all of its dependencies have been met. Alternately, transactions can be committed immediately, creating entities that include versioned identifiers for each of their dependencies. These entities can then be garbage collected of the parent objects are not subsequently created.

  • Patent number: 11579706
Abstract: A free space input standard is instantiated on a processor. Free space input is sensed and communicated to the processor. If the free space input satisfies the free space input standard, a touch screen input response is invoked in an operating system. The free space input may be sensed using continuous implicit, discrete implicit, active explicit, or passive explicit approaches. The touch screen input response may be invoked through communicating virtual touch screen input, a virtual input event, or a virtual command to or within the operating system. In this manner free space gestures may control existing touch screen interfaces and devices, without modifying those interfaces and devices directly to accept free space gestures.

  • Publication number: 20230034512
Abstract: Signature-based authentication is a core cryptographic primitive essential for most secure networking protocols. A new signature scheme, MSS, allows a client to efficiently authenticate herself to a server. The new scheme is modeled in an offline/online model where client online time is premium. The offline component derives basis signatures that are then composed based on the data being signed to provide signatures efficiently and securely during run-time. MSS requires the server to maintain state and is suitable for applications where a device has long-term associations with the server. MSS allows direct comparison to hash chains-based authentication schemes used in similar settings, and is relevant to resource-constrained devices, e.g., IoT. MSS instantiations are derived for two cryptographic families, assuming the hardness of RSA and decisional Diffie-Hellman (DDH) respectively. Then used is the new scheme to design an efficient time-based one-time password (TOTP) protocol.

  • Patent number: 11509717
Abstract: A distributed storage system including a server is configured to accept a request including a consistency indicator that flags for the server that cross datacenter consistency is desired. The server may be required to detect the consistency indicator and in response, to determine a consistency key based at least in part on the request. In an example aspect, the consistency key may comprise a hash value determined by a hash function shared across datacenters, whereby every datacenter may determine the same consistency key for a given resource and datacenter combination. The server may be further configured to determine a preferred datacenter for handling the request based at least in part on the consistency key, and thereafter to redirect the request to the preferred datacenter. In embodiments, the consistency indicator may also denote a scope of the strong consistency required by the calling client.

  • Publication number: 20220324107
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to performance recreation, and in particular, the recreation of observed human performance using reinforcement learning. In this regard, a first object is identified from a plurality of objects. The manipulation of the first object is tracked from a first position to a second position. A characterization of the manipulation is generated. A policy that controls a mechanical gripper to recreate the manipulation is generated based on an iteratively increasing cumulative award. The mechanical gripper iteratively recreates the manipulation to increase a cumulative award with each recreation.

  • Publication number: 20220327245
Abstract: A data storage device and method to selectively enable access to stored user data files. The method includes receiving authentication credential from a user and, in response, retrieving a unique user identifier associated with the authentication credential. The stored user data files on the data storage device each has respective data file identifier. The method includes, for each user, enumerating a directory of stored data files where the data file identifier matches the unique user identifier of that user. This enables selective access of files corresponding the user. Multiple users can be registered to the same data storage device and selective access prevents one user from accessing another user's data files.
