    Abstract: Doping techniques for fin-like field effect transistors (FinFETs) are disclosed herein. An exemplary method includes forming a fin structure, forming a doped amorphous layer over a portion of the fin structure, and performing a knock-on implantation process to drive a dopant from the doped amorphous layer into the portion of the fin structure, thereby forming a doped feature. The doped amorphous layer includes a non-crystalline form of a material. In some implementations, the knock-on implantation process crystallizes at least a portion of the doped amorphous layer, such that the portion of the doped amorphous layer becomes a part of the fin structure. In some implementations, the doped amorphous layer includes amorphous silicon, and the knock-on implantation process crystallizes a portion of the doped amorphous silicon layer.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, so that packets of different services can be sent, based on an SR technology, on a same path specified by an SR policy. This avoids a problem that a great limitation exists in an implementation of dual-stack reconstruction, and improves communication efficiency. In the method, after receiving a first packet, a first network device forwards the first packet to a second network device based on a path specified by an SR policy. A destination endpoint specified by the SR policy is the second network device. An identifier of the destination endpoint includes a first IP address of the second network device and a second IP address of the second network device.

    Abstract: A communication system and an operation method thereof are provided. The transmitting device transmits the current data unit and the transmitted data verification information to the receiving device through the communication interface, and records the current data unit in an FIFO buffer. The receiving device counts the received data identification value by itself based on the current data unit received from the communication interface. The receiving device uses the received data identification value and the transmitted data verification information to check whether the current data unit received from the communication interface has errors. When the current data unit is in error, the receiving device returns an error flag to the transmitting device so that the transmitting device suspends the transmission of the new data unit, and transmits the buffered data unit recorded in the FIFO buffer to the receiving device through the communication interface.

    Abstract: A new class of multiplier cells (analog or digital) is derived from a 1-bit full adder and an AND gate. The 1-bit full adder is derived from first and second majority gates. The multiplier cell can also be implemented with a combination of two majority gates with majority and AND functions integrated in each of them. The two majority gates are coupled. Each of the first and second majority logic gates comprise a capacitor with non-linear polar material. The first and second majority gates receive the two inputs A and B that are to be multiplied. Other inputs received by the first and second majority gates are carry-in input, a sum-in input, and a bias voltage. The bias voltage is a negative voltage, which produces an integrated AND function in conjunction with a majority function. The second majority gate receives additional inputs, which are inverted output of the first majority gate.

    Abstract: An adder with first and second majority gates. For a 1-bit adder, output from a 3-input majority gate is inverted and input two times to a 5-input majority gate. Other inputs to the 5-input majority gate are same as those of the 3-input majority gate. The output of the 5-input majority gate is a sum while the output of the 3-input majority gate is the carry. Multiple 1-bit adders are concatenated to form an N-bit adder. The input signals are driven to first terminals of non-ferroelectric capacitors while the second terminals are coupled to form a majority node. Majority function of the input signals occurs on this node. The majority node is then coupled to a first terminal of a non-linear polar capacitor. The second terminal of the capacitor provides the output of the logic gate. A reset mechanism initializes the non-linear polar capacitor before addition function is performed.
