  • Publication number: 20090219346
Abstract: A piezoelectric actuator includes upper and lower constant electric potential electrodes. The upper constant electric potential electrodes are connected to a first-common conducting section extending in a predetermined direction, both ends of the first-common conducting section are connected to second-common conducting sections, and thus a first electrode assembly is formed. Both ends of the lower constant electric potential electrodes extending in the predetermined direction are connected to third-common conducting sections, and thus a second electrode assembly is constructed. A flexible wiring board stacked on the piezoelectric actuator has a first-connecting land extending in the predetermined direction and to which one of the first and second electrode assemblies having a smaller voltage drop when a predetermined current is applied is connected, and second-connecting lands to which the other is connected and which are arranged on both end sides of the first-connecting land.

  • Publication number: 20090208358
Abstract: The variable displacement gear pump for a loading system in an industrial vehicle has main and sub gear pump portions, suction, discharge and bypass passages, and check and opening valves. The main gear pump portion has main drive and driven gears, and has suction and discharge side spaces. The sub gear pump portion has sub drive and driven gears, and has suction and discharge side spaces. The bypass passage returns hydraulic fluid in the discharge-side space of the sub gear pump portion to the suction passage. The check valve prevents hydraulic fluid in the discharge-side space of the main gear pump portion from flowing to that of the sub gear pump portion. The opening valve is used for opening and closing the bypass passage, and closes the bypass passage due to a pressure in a discharge conduit of the loading system increased by the load applied to the loading system.

  • Publication number: 20090041594
Abstract: In a variable displacement type gear pump, each of a main gear pump portion and a sub gear pump portion has a drive gear, a driven gear engaging with the drive gear, and an urging portion applying radial load to the drive and driven gears. A bypass passage returns fluid in a discharge-side space of the sub gear pump portion to a suction passage. An opening and closing valve opens the bypass passage in a small displacement operational state. A drive shaft supports the main drive gear and the sub drive gear. A driven shaft supports the main driven gear and the sub driven gear. The drive gears and the driven gears are rotated in accordance with a rotation of the drive shaft. The drive and driven shafts transmit the radial load in the main gear pump portion to the sub gear pump portion in the small displacement operational state.

  • Publication number: 20090041593
Abstract: A variable displacement type gear pump has gear chambers, one of which is a specific gear chamber. A suction passage is formed in the housing so as to communicate with suction-side spaces. An outlet passage communicates with discharge-side spaces. A return passage returns the fluid discharged to the discharge-side space of the specific gear chamber to the suction passage. The return passage communicates with the suction passage at a confluence portion located upstream side of the suction-side space. An opening and closing valve opens the return passage in a small displacement operational state. A check valve is located between the discharge-side space of the specific gear chamber and the outlet passage for preventing the fluid discharged from the gear chamber other than the specific gear chamber from flowing into the discharge-side space of the specific gear chamber in the small displacement operational state.

  • Publication number: 20090020099
Abstract: Provided is a butterfly valve-type throttle valve of an internal combustion engine capable of absorbing a dispersion in valve opening degree at closed positions to reduce a leakage of air by solving problems, for example, with a multi-arrayed variable intake valve device in which a plurality of throttle valves mounted on a single turning shaft are opened and closed, a dispersion in valve opening degree is liable to occur at the closed positions due to the mounting errors of the throttle valves on the turning shaft and, accordingly, it is difficult to reduce the leakage of air. A clearance closing member (12) is supported in a floating state along a peripheral edge of a valve body (11) and displaced or elastically deformed to eliminate or reduce a clearance between the clearance closing member and an inner wall surface (2a) of an intake passage.

  • Publication number: 20090002461
Abstract: A discharge head includes a discharge driving element; an individual electrode formed on the discharge driving element and having a connecting section; and a wired board having a terminal which is joined to the individual electrode by a conductive brazing material. The connecting section is provided to face the terminal, and a metal, which is hardly sulfurized, is exposed in a facing area, of a surface of the connecting section, facing the terminal. A silver sulfide coating is formed on a surface of the connecting section except for a portion facing the terminal. The silver sulfide coating has a low affinity for the conductive brazing material, which is hardly wetted thereby. Therefore, even when the conductive brazing material leaks, then the conductive brazing material is not retained on the silver sulfide coating, and no influence is exerted on the driving operation of the discharge head.

  • Publication number: 20080253091
Abstract: An electronic device includes an FPC, a circuit chip arranged on the flexible flat cable, a heat sink arranged on the circuit chip to release a heat of the circuit chip, and an elastic member arranged on a lower surface of the FPC. The upper surface of the FPC is large enough to cover a contact surface of the circuit chip. The elastic member does not overlap with an apex portion of the circuit chip, but overlaps with the circuit chip at an inner side of the apex portion. Therefore the elastic member does not press the FPC against the apex portion of the circuit chip. Accordingly, the FPC at a position corresponding to an apex of the circuit chip is suppressed from being distorted, and there is no fear of breaking of wire and exfoliation of the circuit chip.

  • Patent number: 7322678
Abstract: A flexible wiring cable 60 connects a recording head 7 and a relay board, and includes COF (chip on film) 62 for connecting an output side wiring pattern of an IC chip 61 to the recording head 7, and general purpose FFC (flexible flat cable) 63 formed with a parallel wiring pattern. The flexible wiring cable 60 connects the output side wiring pattern of the IC chip 61 to the relay board 50 via FFC 63, thereby decreasing the use of more expensive COF 62 by the use of cheap, general purpose FFC 63. Thus, the product cost as the entire recording apparatus is reduced by using the general purpose flexible board for a part of a flexible board having a driving circuit mounted thereon and serving as a connecting means for connecting a recording means and a relay board, suppressing the manufacturing cost of parts for connecting means.

  • Publication number: 20080017170
Abstract: A feed pump of a fuel supply system for a DME engine rotates in a normal direction to supply DME fuel in a fuel tank to a high-pressure supply pump through a low-pressure fuel supply passage. The high-pressure supply pump pressurizes the DME fuel and discharges the DME fuel therefrom. The discharged DME fuel is distributed by a high-pressure fuel supply passage and injected by a fuel injector. A first fuel recovery passage connects the high-pressure fuel supply passage to the low-pressure fuel supply passage. When the engine is operated, a first solenoid valve closes the first fuel recovery passage. When the engine is stopped, the first solenoid valve opens the first fuel recovery passage and the feed pump rotates in a reverse direction, thereby the DME fuel in the low-pressure fuel supply passage and in the high-pressure fuel supply passage is recovered into the fuel tank.
