  • Patent number: 8251220
Abstract: A packing structure includes a housing and a cushion portion. The housing includes a bottom plate and a sidewall while the cushion portion is disposed on the bottom plate of the housing. A groove and a jaw portion are formed on an end portion of the cushion portion. The jaw portion is located on a side of the groove facing the sidewall and extends away from the bottom plate. A first tongue plate is formed on the sidewall of the housing and bends inward. A free end of the first tongue plate enters the groove through an opening of the groove, wherein a backside of the jaw portion interferes with the first tongue plate to restrict the first tongue plate from leaving the groove. When the cushion portion is under external forces and moves away from the bottom plate, the first tongue plate will support a bottom inner surface within the groove to restrict a displacement of the cushion portion away from the bottom plate.

  • Publication number: 20110316993
Abstract: A microtome method and apparatus includes a microtome blade configured to oscillate in a direction transverse to a direction of advancing a cut, and a first flexure to support and guide the blade. The first flexure is compliant in the transverse direction while being stiff in the cut direction. A second flexure operatively engaged at one end portion with the first flexure, is stiff in the transverse direction while being compliant in the cut direction. The other end portion of the second flexure is rotatably engaged by an eccentric driven by a rotatable actuator, which oscillates the blade in the transverse direction while effectively isolating non-transverse motion from the blade. The second flexure is configured to move independently of any guides or other stationary objects during oscillation.

  • Patent number: 7954751
Abstract: A roller mounted onto a fabric winding machine to roll up fabric aims to solve the shortcomings of the conventional rollers that tend to cause fabric skewing during fabric rolling and are difficult to remove due to a lengthy structure. The roller of the invention has an outer diameter gradually enlarged towards two ends, and includes a first half roller and a second half roller that have respectively a first positioning portion and a second positioning portion at one end corresponding and fastenable to each other. The greater diameters at two ends allow the fabric to be rolled up on the roller without skewing. The two pieces design of the roller makes each piece shorter and removing from a bundle of rolled up fabric easier. The roller thus formed can facilitate fabric rolling and removal thereof.

  • Patent number: 7905116
Abstract: A fabric collection structure for a fabric cutting apparatus splits fabric and has a driving means. The fabric collection structure includes a fabric rolling rod and a fabric pressing means. The fabric pressing means has a fabric spread rod and a fabric pressing rod. During fabric collection, the driving means drives the fabric rolling rod, fabric spread rod and fabric pressing rod to rotate. The fabric split by the fabric cutting apparatus is flatly unfolded by the fabric spread rod and driven by the fabric pressing rod to be rolled on the fabric rolling rod, and is pressed by the fabric pressing rod. The fabric pressing rod is lifted by increasing thickness of the fabric rolled on the fabric rolling rod. The fabric rolling rod rolls the fabric at a fixed location. The fabric pressing means presses the fabric to control the density and a uniform fabric density is achieved.

  • Patent number: 7883047
Abstract: A tension adjustment structure for fabric winding machine includes a driving mechanism, a roller, a fabric pressing mechanism and an adjustment mechanism. The roller and the driving mechanism have corresponding transmission wheels strode by a belt. The driving mechanism drives the roller to roll up a fabric. The fabric pressing mechanism has an action arm and a fabric pressing bar located on the action arm. The fabric pressing bar has a first position without in contact with the fabric and a second position in contact with the fabric and lifted by the fabric. The adjustment mechanism is butted by the action arm when the fabric pressing bar is at the first position to butt the belt and increase initial rolling force of the roller. The action arm releases the belt while the fabric pressing bar is at the second position so that fabric rolling tightness can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 7882701
Abstract: A high-bandwidth MEMS actuation system includes actuator pairs coupled in parallel to a stage, each actuator energizable in a drive direction against a bias to an energized position, and movable upon deenergization, to the rest position to define an actuation cycle. The actuators are asymmetric, with an energization frequency greater than a bias frequency, and are opposably coupled to one another. A pulse generator alternately transmits pulses to the actuators, at an alternation frequency greater than the bias frequency. The pulse generator transmits the energization pulses to each of the actuator pairs sequentially at a sequence frequency greater than the cycle frequency. The actuators are each movable from energized to rest positions faster than the bias frequency, and the actuator pairs are sequentially energizable faster than the cycle frequency, wherein the stage is movable in one degree of freedom at a bandwidth of at least four times the cycle frequency.
